Draft Day 3 General Discussion

The problem I have is this is the type strategy is for a team that has a filled out roster with great players. Not a team that won 5 games the year before...being that bad means you should have first dibs on potential a elite players at the top of each round but we have traded down constantly like we are well built playoff team....this is not impressive, it wont be till we know if these picks pan out. So its pressure on all these picks to be worth it or Fitts ass is grass.

We had holes to fill and about to draft 11 guys. People here are fuging stupid.

And I'm telling you it's all based on the 1 hour they spent YouTube scouting and the Panthers not drafting the player they spent their hard scouting work on...lol

Does Fitterer know quality is more important than quantity?

It’s like he thinks who drafts the most people wins.

There’s a certain train of thought on this. Most of these guys are a toss up and the more picks you have the better chance you have on hitting on some of these lower round picks.

not saying it’s right or wrong but that’s the line of thought.

Nah, both arguments are valid.

There's a strong case for quality over quantity, and vice versa. We'll see how it plays out.

It's all the same level of quality at this point. Why not add more!? Now you used gained assets to trade forward to get the ones you really want. Doesn't take a genius to see it...

My thought here is that this is a way for Fritter to fill the roster on the  cheap .

But also this allows Rhule to grow a culture of young guys on his team. Rhule got a lot of players to over achieve last year. If he gets the young back ups to buy in then we will be a very competitive team.

Wtf are you talking about.. So after winning 5 games a team shouldn't try to fill the team with as many players they scouted as POSSIBLE?? We are good enough to get less players and hope they workout instead of having more option??

Yeah great strategy there..

    • Idk man, I think it’s necessary.  There’s people working 9-5s everyday that get told poo about what they aren’t and what they’re not capable of and they’re working for scraps.  These guys are making millions.  People are watching and invested because their team and fandom is a part of their identity and a big source of pride.  When someone like Bryce comes in and is given chance after chance after chance after proving he is not worthy of the position he’s being gifted, and he continues to be the biggest reason above any that we are losing, yeah…  I think it’s fair to call a spade a spade.  Am I saying Bryce the person is trash?  Bryce the person is a piece of poo?  Absolutely not.     I came up in an era, especially in basketball, where if you were fuging up people heckled the poo out of you.  I played in rec leagues as a teen where the fuging parents were calling kids trash and yelling poo like “TURNOVER!!!  TURNOVER!!!”  “CANT DRIBBLE!”  “CANT SHOOT!”  And that’s adults screaming that poo to kids like we were in the fuging Rucker lol.🤣🤣🤣  I went on to play basketball at a collegiate level and with professional players in different settings.  What those experiences as a kid taught me was to see if there is any merit to what people are saying, and if there is, then work my ass off til they can’t say that anymore.  Come back better, tougher, harder.  And I did.  If kids can figure that poo out, an adult calling another adult who is bad at his job while making millions and millions of dollars will be just fine.
    • I have tried to like this team, lord knows I have tried. BY9 is a nice young man, if I had a daughter he can take her to prom, but he ain't QB1 and he's not Cam or Delhomme Chuba is a average RB, he isn't Stephen Davis, he isn't J-Stew McMillan has the makings of a good WR, but he isn't 89/Moose D. Brown is a great player, but if the game was on the line I want Kris Jenkins       I miss this brand of football, even in the bad Jake games the games were entertaining It has been nearly 8 years now of watching numb football
    • I'm not so sure. Something about the whole Frank/Bryce situation seemed off from day 1. Bryce didn't fit Frank's QB mold as well as Stroud, then he basically gives up when Bryce is named starter in preseason but gets virtually no reps in games. Then he looks completely unprepared and Dalton steps in in Seattle, has a decent game under immense pressure, and it's right back to Bryce. All his mechanics are terrible and he's having the worst rookie season ever and Frank doesn't bench him?  You dont have to be a conspiracy theorist to know Bryce wasn't ready to be a day 1 starter. Everything with Bryce, then coaches, and the FO seemed forced.
