Can't wait for the next Panthers press conference and see what Rhule or Brady have to say about it.

Why?

I'm sure it will be nothing of subtance.  They'd be dumb to take that bait.

The Dolphins are the most recent example. The Panthers did it successfully not that long ago.

I would argue the Panthers org didn't plan on going 1-15 and securing the #1 overall pick when they went into that season.   That wasn't a bad team around Clausen.  Clausen was just that bad and Fox didn't give a fug.

Dolphins didnt go through a rebuild... and they only traded two players because of contract costs. The dolphins were 10-6 4 seasons ago... if anything one could argue... they have done nothing to improve.

How are they different than what Rhule is doing? It's almost a spitting image. They were 5-11 2 years ago and last year 10-6 with two different QBs.

people in denial. i wouldn't be surprised if he was right b/c everyone here seems to think the future of football operations is the carolina panthers. new staff may not have put an emphasis on this especially with a young squad when focus might have been fundamentals. Still, teddy can't throw a ball more than three yards.

If he wears big boy drawers why wouldn't he take it upon himself to speak up? He was paid to be the guy. The Panthers had him all over social media. This was his big opportunity to showcase what he had again and his best excuse is the coaches didn't make him practice enough? He is grinning from ear to ear while telling everyone he has no leadership. I'm not even mad at him I'm more disappointed in the staff for buying into that fools gold the first year into the new regime after all the talk of a rebuild and a process.
