Of all the comps I’ve seen thrown around I’m surprised no one has said Dez Bryant. They’re built almost identically and Dez was great throughout his career high pointing contested catches over DBs.

Being a guy who will win you those 50/50 jump balls was one of Marshall’s biggest strengths coming out of the draft.

I said it earlier in the thread, but no one said anything lol. That’s who I think he looks like most!

That's high praise.

What I will say is that on tape I saw no discernible talent difference between the Top 10 WRs and Marshall. If he's over his injuries we've got an absolute superstar on our hands.

Exactly. Health is the only concern. If he stays healthy he and DJ are the future for us at the WR position. If Shi Smith can develop in the slot we are going to have an awesome offense!

Yeah, this is the deepest WR unit I can ever remember.  Its early, but so far, I think Marshal has a higher ceiling that Samuel.  Samuel's first year was pretty bad.

Marshall is a legit TD catching WR. Looks like he is the real deal with routes, hands, and size/speed. Samuel was a great athlete who played WR/RB in college. Basically a shifty/fast playmaker that OSU just wanted to get the ball in his hands. Both have a good ceiling, but Marshall has a higher floor IMO.
