Agreed. This is clearly year two.

I don't necessarily even need .500. Give me .500 with a clear path to above. 500. Let's say that the biggest issues are OL and QB(for instance). That means we have limited slots to fill. That works for me.

In Rhule's career, he has always been a third year guy. This should be a transition year if that pattern holds.

Yep it’s year two because, I means it’s his second year here…  Last draft was spent on revamping the defense to get younger and fit Snow’s scheme. But honestly this team got stripped of talent and had cap issues when Rhule took over. Playoffs in year two would be pretty insane considering all the circumstances. If we are competitive and improve throughout the season while sniffing .500 I’ll be happy.

BTW just listened to Rhule's pressure. LOL when he says he is mad at the receivers and TE's he is CLEARLY pissed at the QB's and OLine. It was soooo obvious to me. He is good at not calling out his guys personally.

You're insane.

Some of our fans act as if as long as they're irrationally positive we'll actually he good ingnoring the reality that we're coming off of three consecutive losing seasons and our first joint practice pretty much confirmed the concerns most of us already had about the roster. But, I guess go ahead and keep acting like we're the Pats or Steelers.

Referring to me? If so, let's talk. Let's not generalize it.

Honestly, no but if you think the shirt fits...

I don't.

I know how challenging it is to build even an average oline in today's NFL and CBA.

I understand your frustrations that they are still trying different combinations out.  It's also a necessary step.

Our defense, while the talent is there, is very young, and will still have growing pains.

I do honestly like the direction Rhule is taking our team. Yes, at 46 years of age, and Panther fan from.the beginning,  the struggles are real. And patience? Well, Robin passing sure has made me think of my own mortality.

Anyways, I will always have unconditional Love for our Panthers. I'll die bleeding black and blue.

Dolphins Look Good During First Joint Practice With Panthers – CBS Miami (cbslocal.com)
The Miami Dolphins took the field at Wofford College on Wednesday for the first of two joint practices with the Carolina Panthers....

Quarterback Ryan Tannehill picked up where he left off in Davie, completing passes with great accuracy and velocity at a very consistent rate.

Miami’s offensive line seemed to hold up well against Carolina’s very strong defensive front, which is extremely encouraging.

Both the first and second team offense moved the ball well during team drills.

Chris McCain continued to work with the first team linebackers and came away with an interception on a ball that was jarred loose from the receiver thanks to a big hit by safety Louis Delmas.

Some good news from the Dolphins defense is that they were just as dominant against Carolina as they have been during training camp.

Ndamukong Suh and Cameron Wake could not be stopped, whether it was during team drills or 1-on-1s.

Wake also showed off his hands, intercepting Cam Newton at the line of scrimmage.

Panthers 15-1
Dolphins 6-10

Huddle "experts":
See I told you we were going to suck when KB went down.  Damn it RR, damn it Gettleman.  I know more than them.  This is confirming whatever I've been posting  on the huddle for the last six months ad nauseum.

    • You’re playing madden we’re talking real football stuff…. He does have you seen his special on internet he def thinks he’s getting paid
    • Without the team having an identity kinda hard to predict what they value.  They either are really trying to build a balanced team, or preparing for another swing at qb if Bryce doesn’t pan out. Seems like we value the o line but the $ spent there has been underwhelming besides Lewis, you could say it’s because of injuries but still hasn’t been worth the investment. as already stated, the whole handling of Bryce young as a whole has been ass backwards, we spent the years we’re supposed to take advantage of having a qb with a lower cap hit, building the team up to be adequate. now It appears, key word appears, the saints have done it correctly, which is painful to even think about. Regardless, I hope the front office has paid attention to qb contracts recently, such as Tua, Kyler, Daniel jones(pre colts) and don’t settle for subpar qb play at franchise qb rates
    • This is the flaw in your logic.  Cutting 3 of our best players will somehow move us from whatever we are to "compete". Even the most Young super fans are not predicting a ceiling above top 10-12, and that will not nearly cut it.  Someone will need to break the log jam of QBs getting nothing or North of 50. Our qb is at best a middle ground, lets hope it will be us that also manage to pay the worth at about 100 over 3 years.  And before you jump me, yes that is only of he improves.
