You don't seriously think he was laughing about his injury?  He could've easily been laughing about some comments folks were making about the laughable response of the indy staff with the cart.  I guess you never heard a joke at a funeral?  I've heard jokes told from the pulpit at a funeral.  Save the outrage for something serious.

My uncle (great uncle technically) used to do funerals and held a service once for a man who was cremated. The family had put his ashes in a coffee tin and mid service he started laughing when he noticed the words “good to the last drop” mid service. At least he used to crack up telling that story to the family. I have no fugging idea if it was true, but I certainly hope it was lol

That's the sad part about our country.  So many people look for little things to offend them.

Rhule is a players coach.   He would never be laughing at an injury on either side of the field.

Pretty weird Rhule was caught laughing on the sidelines while Pride was lying on the ground waiting for a cart.

Dude Rhule is an NFL headcoach. He has to manage like 30 things at a time. Every coach compartmentalizes a player injury during a game. It was just a bad cut from the camera.

Rhule was talking with a ref, and BOTH he and the ref were giggling about something.  Yes, the optics were bad, but I'm 99.9% sure they weren't laughing AT Pride.  Now, should Rhule have been sharing a light-hearted moment while he had an injured player on the field?  Probably not, but one has to do mental gymnastics to think both he and the ref were making fun of Pride.

    • I would be quite surprised if he got more than a fine. Flopping has long been out of hand in the NBA. There were definitely some Heat players doing extra selling fouls. LaMelo seems to be getting quite a bit of hate on social media for the Bam injury though. And it is fair to wonder how the next opponent might defend him going forward knowing what happened. I don't think we can just be homers and dismiss it entirely especially after all the complaints we've made about the Pistons in particular. I think this group better be prepared for a very physical game on Friday.
    • When you look closely at the play it was careless from Melo but bang bang full speed I don’t think it was intentional or dirty or deserving of a foul. Bam’s off balance momentum was already carrying him towards a fall and even if Melo didn’t touch him it may have had the exact same outcome. And honestly I think he did try to sell it more when he felt LaMelo’s hand. Dudes arms flopped back instead of bracing for the fall. Sucks he got hurt but a suspension would be ridiculous and an awful look for the league. Fine and move on
    • Sure but it literally would be benching him lol, and it would kill his confidence. He’ll get back in a rhythm, kid just had an all time great rookie season and led the league in 3s, you gotta stick with him as starter. But yeah I’m all for getting some more lineups throughout the game with Coby and Melo   and yeah Miles’ block and Coby and others jumping him in celebration was fuging epic
