Dang, not sure I can come up with 18 Carolina legends.

Probably got to go retro and throw some college jerseys in the mix.  Which would be awesome.   Hit some of them ACC basketball guys.

He only said sports legend.  The only criteria I see is that they still gotta be alive to sign it.

1. Steve Smith (Where to begin--I saw him humiliate and embarrass dwayne Jarrett for an hour straight. No WR drafted or signed as a free agent beyond Moose did well here while he was playing--I think I know why.  Was a smartass to kids seeking autographs (but he gave them), etc.

Genuinely the best player to ever suit up for us, but yeah he seems like a dick off the field (and he's a shocking analyst).

I wanted him to be a good guy too.  Just a pecker.   I talked to a guy at a sporting goods shop at Concord Mills, who said that Smith was in there a few days before.  He said, "What a dick."  He said he was with his wife and kids--the wife was nice, but Smitty was getting on him about selling a helmet with signatures for too much money--making money off the name he built with his own sweat and labor.

He got paid millions for playing a fun game.  His God-given talent and gifts more than his own sweat got him there--  Give me a break.

My son tried to give him a cold bottle of water.  He said, "Why do I want that?"  My son said, "Because you are thirsty."  He said, "you don't know if I am thirsty or not..."  I said to my son right in front of him, "Taylor, that's OK.  Some of these players lack social skills."  He looked at me and walked off.  My son was about 8 or so.

I wasn't correcting.  Just agreeing with the lack of pro-legends.  Maybe he'll wear a Lawrence Taylor jersey or a David Thompson.  That would be sick.

Yeah.  The college route has some crazy good options.

Carolina legends to be represented: Rod Brind'Amour, Alonzo Mourning, Steve Smith, Michael Jordan, the two Topcats from the 2006 Tampa bathroom scandal, "Amphibious" Charles Shackleford from State, etc.

Chinn should really commit and throw the #2 jersey on top of the grandmama outfit.
