"I tried to tell you that this little white boy was the truth", lol.

My favorite part was that CMC comes up to him after practice all starstruck.

And that was coming from Luke Kuechly and Thomas Davis who have to practice against him everyday. Let that sink in for a minute.

The team has not been good since we got CMC but I swear he adds 4 wins when he's healthy.

I know that feeling he's describing when the coach is trying to tell him what to do. There are time when you are playing a superior athlete, you know what to do. You can see it coming and you can't stop it.

The modern NFL diminishes the ability of a RB to have great impact on winning games, even if they are the best in the NFL. Having to account for CMC basically opens up the rest of the offense though. You have to account for him on every play especially as a dual threat back.

Definitely was not a fan of the contract we signed him to but with the cap projected to skyrocket with the new TV deal, it probably ends up being a decent deal for us in the end.

We just need to keep him healthy. That's the only real concern.

    • Well yeah. Last time vs NO if we had had good QB play and half ass pass pro it is a different game. And that is the story more often, in point of fact, than the two or three hero games everyone wants to use to define the player.  That box was so stacked against the run it was basically impossible to break through it, you had to go over and around. It is what we knew was gonna be employed by teams and we were unable to stop them from doing it.    I am real interested to see the first 3rd and 8 and see how NO defenses it in the back end. Because they can look at that Rams tape and learn, but will they have enough fear/respect that it can happen to them or will we need to prove it again before they do?   Most people don’t learn from others’ mistakes and  need to make their own.
    • I like that Tillis is so down to earth  we will see where it goes ill say something controversial on a day that, along with next week, determines the panthers 2025  and 2026 fate  he referenced ‘money ball’, statistics and self scouting multiple times. it really makes me feel that Bryce will be back regardless of what happens over the next 4 games as that is the smart move for financial stability but by no means does that guarantee Bryce anything past that.  They will improve year over year regardless of position or who is affected       however, they will do the appropriate diligence and not cut off their nose to spite their face….it won’t be an emotional decision…unlike us Huddlers….for example, if Young’s happy ass shits the bed today, I’ll be less than pleased ..particularly having seen what they will do and having a bye week.  Brandon Staley is a good defensive coordinator and former HC.  His defense is aging but he can still develop a good game plan
    • Something like 24 now. The first 6 minutes were fun, after that, oh man. It was cool tho, a near capacity, with both teams well supported.
