Worst Panther coach/player of all time

Eric Shelton definitely deserves to be in the conversation. He was drafted in the 2nd round and was meant to be the replacement of Stephen Davis. First year he immediately gets injured, misses the whole season. 2nd year he rushed for TWENTY THREE YARDS for the whole year. Cut the next year, never played again. And that's the story of Eric Shelton.

Coach : Siefert

Player: QB Jeff Lewis, a Siefert pick so bad that he played himself right off the team in preseason. Sadly died of a drug OD at age 39....

I was going to post this, my recollection of watching him play was that he looked like he couldn't throw a spiral.  We gave up some picks to the Broncos to get him I think.

Player: Teddy Bridgewater 2020; I don't think I ever recall a player tossing his coaches under the bus. Even terrible players like Bell, Chandler, Fua, Legedu Naanee, etc did their jobs terribly with some dignity. I'd put Carruth as well but I was too young/not a fan (yet) to remember the impact.

Coach: Ron Meeks; He was supposed to bring that nastiness from the Colts to us, but our defense fell flat instead.

Poor Tauren Poole had one carry in a game for us and he fumbled the ball away.

Ryan Sutter of “The Bachelorette” fame dislocated his shoulder on the opening kickoff of his only game with us.

Jon Hilbert’s solo game as a kicker in 2002 was hilarious.

Randy Fasani played an entire game and posted a 0.0 QB rating with weapons like Muhsin Muhammad, Steve Smith and Wesley Walls at his disposal.

Haruki Nakamura and everyone not named Minter in the 2001 secondary also deserve a nod.

    • I believe Lloyd will elevate not just the whole unit, but also whoever his running mate is. Wallace is still very young, I think he's only 23 with two years of exp now. Cherelus can handle starting, he's just fighting with staying healthy. Kuwatch I think is going to be a contender after a couple week of understanding the system.  I mean Lee will be against..... what nearly 10 NFL-level WRs, he's going to get work and its up to him if he can hang.  I think its fair to expect 12th +/- 3 or 4 spots.  You know this, it boils down to how healthy everyone stays.....cause if dbrown, horn, Lloyd, Michael Jackson, or tervon miss extended time.....no way 10th can be reached. IF all the names above remain haethly, I do think 10th should be the goal. They are a young unit and added talent to a 16th ranked unit. Its time to march forward!!
    • Varying degrees all around but it starts at the top. That is where the buck stops. It has been 8 years of stupid, long before Morgan came back. Or Tillis was hired. Made it to the top of stupid mountain in 2023. Stayed in stupid limbo for a while, now we are prepping to scale the next mountain. In this case, I like those guys’ roster building better than what we have had so I am okay with them as our current pawns in the game of Bryce.
    • Don't let me gas him up too much, but I hear this and that...... I seen a wide body man with a quick burst, that's able to shed blocks and if extends his long arms its over. He tore up the OL in the senior, you seen about 10 plays and the dog walking OLman. There's other plays of him doing the same, just have to deal with fetus talking over the plays. Plus there's this-  https://x.com/PFF_College/status/2018385471068332410?lang=en     I hope he's ready, cause Id like to see him starting and doing his thang with dbrown, nic, and Phillips.
