1 drive doesn't make up for poo. I'm glad the kid has fight but play average or just below average and we wouldn't be in that predicament. 

I know drops were amazing and didn't help.

 

Still 7 int three games. Sam is very streaky and has trouble shaking things off when they go badly.

1) Declaring racism when others give opinion

2) Telling people to eat his ass and suck his dick

3) Mom sex jokes

4) Asking people to commit suicide

Yeah his receivers were trash today but it doesn’t help when every pass is behind or needs to be fingertip catches. 

Whatever it is, it must be the illegal type if they think Sam was good today. 

He had a good drive at the end. And a horrible 3 1/2 quarters before that.

To be frankly honest. This team doesn't have leaders. We have a bunch of good players but nobody who has been a leader. We lack that and we lack oline hands and QB that's a leader. Granted he did good today at the end but leaders lead 4 quarters and don't wait till the end.

I agree with everything except the 1st sentence. Sam's timing and decision making is off. Did you notice that he pumped on a few open screens and quick outs.  He has some abilities (as he showed on the last drive), but I expected growth each game and I don't see it.

I think a really positive takeaway is that the previous 58 min didn’t have an affect on him and he delivered a clutch drive and score even as his WRs continued to drop passes on that drive.

I don't think he's the answer for us but if he can take that 4th quarter and play with that confidence and urgency all game, he could prove me wrong.

Sam is a nice, tough guy. I’m just not convinced he is a starting QB in this league…
