@CRA where you at now LOL

First it's NOBODY is claiming it's all on Darnold (because of course that's stupid AF)

Then it.... oh well sure, those are just "troll accounts"

Then it's someone that's been here forever with 20K posts that thinks we're sitting as one of the best teams in the NFC otherwise LOL

Did I say best team in the nfc, you lunatic? I said our record SO FAR would be 6-2, 7-1. We’ve had a weak schedule and Sam still sucks. Love how you completely disregard 7th most pocket time out of 32 starting qbs.

Uh yeah you said we'd be 7-1, that would be one of the best teams in the NFC by any measurable standard.

And again, if you think this is all on Darnold... if we'd be 7-1 with this trash OLine... with this coaching staff... with our WRs dropping everything possible... then yes, you are dumb AF.

Records are misleading. We wouldn’t be able to compete with the top tier teams in the nfc but at this point in our schedule we would have a winning record with a competent qb. That is how BAD Darnold is. He affects the defense as well with his turnovers and constant 3 and outs.

Again 7th most pocket time out of 32 starting qbs. Sam is a franchise killer.

Darnold had the 7th most time in the pocket out of 32 starting qbs before this game. He cannot process what is happening in front of him. Because he is football dumb. That’s not an oline issue or a coaching issue when we can look at breakdowns of the games and see Sam missing wide open players and throwing balls straight to defenders. He’s not in rhythm with the plays and it’s fuging with wr rhythm. He’s throwing hospital balls that have injured 3 guys already.  he doesn’t understand elementary things in his 4th year and freaks out at the slightest bit of pressure. He doesn’t have it. Brady and the staff know it and that’s why you’re seeing repetitive playcalling and not opening up the playbook more because he can’t even do the basics. He’s the worst starting qb in the league, even worse then the rookies this year. He’s that inept and bad. He has sucked all the energy off the field.

This season would be different with a competent qb. Do we need to upgrade the line? Of course! But it doesn’t change the fact that Sam has literally tanked this season himself.

Thank you, someone see it.

you’re arguing with cam stans still butthurt and still hanging around pretending they’re Panther fans for some reason

they did not watch the nfl before 2011 and don’t understand it

they and the casuals literally think this is the worst offense the Panthers have ever fielded, they also simultaneous think this oline isn’t the worst the Panthers ever fielded, and leading the NFL in drops by a huge margin isn’t really a factor, which all can be fixed with a different qb - despite all the numbers in the world for the panthers and nfl history in general not proving any of the above lol

just give it up man

The vigorous defense of Jimmy Clausen 2.0 is hilarious. There is no greater problem on the offensive side of the ball than Sam Darnold. You don't accidentally become the worst QB in the NFL. That's who Sam Darnold was for 3 years and he is settling in to being the worst in the NFL again.

The OL is garbage. The drops are nuts. The playcalling is trash.

But Sam Darnold is far and away the WORST part of this offense. 9 games, 13 TO's. Wow. Currently on pace for a staggering 25 TO's, which would tie a Panthers franchise record for a player in one season(1997 Kerry Collins).

But who is ULTIMATELY to blame for all this?

Matt Motherfuging Rhule. The buck stops there in 2021.

3 games since Darnold has had a TD.  Since Dallas, he's had 2 TDs, 8 INTs, 1 fumble lost, only broken 60% completion percentage once (with drops it'd probably be twice, heh), and is averaging like ~160 yards/game.  He isn't the only problem on offense, but its time they sit him.

Rhule's at fault for this risk, and he really could have helped Darnold (and the team) out in a few ways... but ah well. Rhule now needs to actually show the team that he's willing to try something different I think

Yeah and for all the anti-Cam dolts, how is that 59.5% completion percentage treating you? I remember hearing so much about how we needed an accurate QB but we have one of the least accurate in the NFL and it isn't because of scheme or drops.

Teddy Bridgewater completed 69.1% of his passes in this same offense with almost the same players.

If Rhule keeps trotting out Darnold with no other plan, I would fire him immediately.

    • this     I never cease to be amazed at the number of people who will run up their blood pressure to get to the grocery store 30 seconds faster or are racing to get to work like it won’t be there at 8:02.   The only thing I’ve ever done that I think added more years to my life besides quitting smoking, was to learn to go with the flow behind the wheel.
    • The term you're looking for is "malinger(ed)", and he didn't.  I'm not sure why Panthers fans act like jaded ex girlfriends.  The dude is clearly injury prone as his time in San Fransico also proves. It's not like he got to San Fran and stopped having problems.
    • My long and rambling post:   The guy is all heart, and I wouldn’t be surprised if he came back even better next year. He’s exactly the guy you lock up. The money won’t ever change the way he plays.  It was a big fumble, but what 1,000 yard back fumbles once in an entire season?  Pride. This team is FINALLY seeing guys who obviously take the game very seriously. Hunt, Chuba, Thielen, Brown, Horn (CB), Coker, Bryce (IMHO). Bye bye, Spider-Man. I don’t see these dudes being OK with teammates half-assing practice or in games. I can see Brown and Horn coming over to talk to somebody.  Good team? Ummm, maybe, but will still likely lose more close games than they win unless this last draft turns in to LOB part 2. That’s a stretch.  Pretty good/decent team. Yes. They finished the season as a pretty good team. I know I sound like a broken record harping back to it, but going in to ATL and putting a 40 burger on them en route to an OT win. A bad Panthers team would have had their brakes beaten off. We’ve seen it.  Rose colored glasses on and bonging a 40 of hopium: There are watershed moments that occur that change the course of franchises, both good and bad. If Fox doesn’t pull Rodney at halftime, the epic journey that was 2003 never happens. On the negative side, Cam taking that one hit from Watt was the end of any and all Panthers relevancy and we’ve been the biggest losers in all of pro sports as a result. Watershed moments. LOB draft. Vinny goes down and the goat is born.  Will the ATL game be the spark that this franchise has desperately needed? Could it be that they hit the mega million jackpot with Princley and Scourton as eat QBs for breakfast? Sure would be nice having 2 all-pro edge guys on the cheap for the next 4 years.  A lot of unknowns, but at least it actually feels  fun again.
