So who do you want as the new coach?

We can talk about firing an offensive coordinator

We can talk about letting a few assistant coaches go

But the reality is it starts from the top and Mr. Tepah isn't going to fire himself

Scott Fitterer can stay, he is a FOOTBALL guy and think he will be solid over the long haul.

Mr. RaRa snake oil salesman needs to go. He is Chip Kelly 2.0 without the awkwardness but his style is not an NFL style. His lack of NFL experience with his coaches is quite evident.

If you want to fix the Panthers, start with Rhule, man needs to go!

Now.....

My vote, Byron Leftwich. I've followed him since his Marshall days when I lived in WV.

Played on broken leg to help his team comeback (they inevitably lost)

Experienced QB and former first round pick

Started his coaching career in 2016 when he was hired by the Cardinals as an intern

I like that we would be getting a Coach that has an OFFENSIVE Philosophy, one of which we had not had on Mint St in nearly over a decade

He will be VERY highly sought after and respected this offseason as he is a football guy through and through

Stop trying to make chicken salad out of chicken poo, give Rhule a parting gift in Jan and get on the phone and bring this man to the QC

    • I don’t know about floor in a team defense sense but we needed more.  The floor that I am familiar with is our QBs floor and it is so low that every other part of the team needs to be beefed up.     We tried our best to improve these things and I think we did improve the defense and we at least kept the offense  from sinking from no LT.  And ostensibly helped the receivers too.   So we kept a window open that we at least have a chance to improve our record by a game of two.  Which would probably give us the division.

    • Yeah. I am one of. those who think a JAG RB can eat with really good blocking. (Brooks is most important in my mind, in tbe passing game and that is what we’ll lose without him)  There are a lot of aspects to this. The big one that caused us to struggle is Young and his arm scared no one.  Best back, best blocking still cannot defeat a really good defense if they are not forced to respect the pass.  And teams did not.    But, a strong OL and running game Can get us over against weaker defenses.  And if Bryce still doesn’t scare anyone we can still win some games. Like last year  So it is really important to tend to that OL.   Get that straight and see if in his fourth year he can finally back defenses off. That is what if is all about this year to me, on the Bryce front.
