It is a no brainer the Panthers made a big,big mistake when they made him the highest-paid running back in NFL history in April 2020, signing him to a four-year, $64 million contract extension with a contract that runs through the 2025 season. Now the team is going to pay the price for their mistake.

It made even less sense when they decided this was a rebuilding year. And it doesn't matter which came first- if you're rebuilding, you don't pay anyone that kind of money. Or, if you pay someone that money, you can't walk it back by saying it's a rebuild season.

BTW Rhule said in the Presser taht he wasn't even ruled out of the game....its not serious its a shelving but he always get shelved so /shrug

The treat him like their son. Aaron Jones goes down with what looks like a torn acl that turns into a sprain and is back in a week.

Just move him to the slot and make Chuba full time RB

Fire those 2 POS Rhule and Brady and go from there.

He’s not a slot would be out with first hit and Chuba is not a full time RB unless you like a middle of the league team

    • But see, that's the difference between Pep and Steve, not to say Pep wouldn't win in a street fight. Even listening to this interview in current day. Steve seems ready to take on, anybody, anywhere, at any time. Where Pep seemed like a gentle giant. The guys in that room were all solid hard nose defensive players, and basically almost cowered to Steve in that interview (no judgement there, who wants to fight when you're rich and mid 40s). He's just got some dark things that the typical man doesn't have inside and he talks about it a bit. But as someone said before...that's what made him 89 on that field.
    • Luke keuchly would do this for 25 hours per day
    • yup, and hes outplayed tremble and JT sanders.  both have places on the team, but only one needs to be the starter and we know who it should be.  this will be a historically good draft.
