For being a hand picked Marty Hurney protégé for years. He was led to believe he would replace Hurney when he stepped aside. Beane was loyal and loved the Panthers.

I would've still taken Fields. Curious to see him in a non-Nagy offense next year. Everyone he out on the field struggled. All of a sudden it makes you think Trubisky might not be that bad overall after watching other QBs play in that system.
