I think they’ll either try to get a mid tier vet FA QB or stick with Darnold. I don’t see them drafting Pickett. If they passed on Fields and Jones, why would they pick Pickett? He’s a lesser prospect than either of those guys.

Because Rhule knows him. He recruited him to Temple.

Also Fitterer seemed effusive when asked about him.

Well Rhule also sounded effusive about Cam before he cut him. I don’t count on these guys doing anything like you’d expect.

Ok, bud

He had 8 passing touchdowns in 15 games that year. He hasn't had 20 or more passing touchdowns since 2018. I hate it too but that's reality. You need to find someone to talk to and move on from all that fella.

Except you're being dishonest. Carr's stats are his passing TDs while your cherry-picked Newton stats are total TDs. Newton only threw for 8 TDs in 20. He threw for 4 in 21. Carr threw for 27 in 20 and 23 in 21. Therefore, Carr > Newton as a passer at this stage of their careers and that's ok. The brightest bulbs usually burn out the quickest and Cam was used as a Swiss army knife by Ron and Co as a Panther.

    • I’m old enough to remember when I wanted to draft Njoku We brought back Mitchell and officially kept Tremble. Mitchell Evans isn’t going anywhere. Sanders who knows, he was awful last year I fully agree we need a better TE. This room is awful Njoku would be a massive help in the red zone. However it really seems like Dan and the FO prefer to go young on offense
    • You’re underselling Loveland imo. He’s so damn good. You can line him out wide and count on him to win 1 v 1. I don’t see that from Sadiq. Loveland is going to go over 1000 yards next season I’m not overly asking for a WR3. It’s just one of the few directions Morgan could go in round 1.  Let’s say Thieneman, Fano and Cooper are all on the board it’s a tough decision. I just don’t see how this team would take Sadiq over some of those guys given the way they run their offense. Our tight end room is easily bottom of the league so I can definitely see why someone would want a tight end though. At one point during the season I was on the Sadiq train as well. I just don’t think value wise for us specifically it makes sense given our team as a whole As far as tight ends go in this draft I really like Max Klare. Very smooth mover
    • Some of you need some serious help with the way 9 lives rent free in your heads I know for a fact, Dan loves Bryce. Bryce is his guy. This offense is very young and they’re asking Bryce to do a lot. With Idzik taking over playcalling duties it’s a move that is another step in the process of Bryce taking control of the offense. 24 years old. This youth movement on offense and putting more on 9’s shoulders is going to pay off in the long run
