Between this and the whole "I could leave for a college job and more money if I wanted" thing, I get the definite impression Rhule thinks he's a big deal.

In reality, he's just full of sh-t.

Dude is a fraud. He's a snake oil salesman, not a coach. Good for him for making a poo ton of money but his legacy in the sport will be that if a joke.

If I remember Eli wasn't really doing much here. He had an injury which he felt he couldn't play on, but Rhule and the training staff here thought he could, or something. They thought he was milking the injury (I dunno). Kind of what Antonio Brown claimed about Arians and the Bucs. I cant remember where I read that....

Anyway Apple is playing better now than he was here, and He's going to the Sb while Rhule (and most of the rest of us) will be watching it at home..

    • The good thing about replacing a bad player is you really have nothing to lose. If their replacement is bad so what, you didn't get much worse and probably saved money.
    • I came over from the old Panthers Insider site. When Fox Sports bought that platform it slowly just started dying plus the guy who ran that site was dealing with some pretty significant health issues so the whole thing just slowly fell apart. Quite a few of us migrated over here. Not sure how many are still around.  I miss that place. It struck a nice balance of having enough active posters to keep productive conversation flowing but didn't have so much traffic that you end up with a lot of trolling BS. This place is getting there though since we shutdown new registrations but at some point we're going to have to open it back up or we'll watch this place slowly die off too as posters fall off for one reason or another. We just have to figure out a way to filter out the spam bots. It was a never ending battle to ban the spam bots to keep then from overrunning the site. You'd think they'd be a little more strategic. I mean, if you fill a site with nothing but spam people are just going to stop coming so it's not a sustainable model. But nope, every one of them makes dozens of duplicate threads filling up pages upon pages as soon as their account goes live.
    • lol...I don't remember that.  Although recalling what I had for breakfast yesterday is sometimes a challenge.  Hope it was a positive thing.
