Pickett has little hands.

I said before that I think it's kinda silly we've spent all this time mocking Rhule for being worried about Christensen and Slater's arm length only to turn around and now be all caught up in Pickett's hand size.

To be clear, I don't want us to draft Pickett, but his hand size isn't part of the reason why.

It's a concern. Not a chief concern, but it is just one of a good few that I'm not crazy about the idea of that pick.

And I do think it's a bigger deal than Brady having short arms and quite a bit hypocritical of Rhule if he drafts Pickett for the most important job on the team in spite of that after having made such a big deal about Brady.

Most had Darnold ranked #1 so considering he correctly had Allen as the #1 and Jackson as the #2 is pretty impressive

He just lined the guys up according to their physical traits.

McAdoo's thoughts on Baker Mayfield, relevant part bolded and underlined:

McAdoo's view of that QB class:

1. Josh Allen

2. Lamar Jackson

3. Sam Darnold

4. Josh Rosen

5. Mason Rudolph

6. Baker Mayfield

Just food for thought...

Damn that list fell off a fuging cliff after the first 2.

I dont want Pickett.  People keep trying to compare him to Burrow and its not the same at all.  Please, please, please don't take Pickett.  He will be a career game manager, at best, and the next Nathan Peterman at worst.

He's Joe burrow ultra lite.

Yep. Not a good class outside of those two. Still could end up being a better class than the one this year.

What's funny is he had Darnold barely above Rosen and the difference being Rosen had an injury history. Didn't sound like he was really be crazy about either one.

    • The panthers are such a trash organization at this point that all the huddle can do is argue about which panthers team is historically the worst…good times.
    • Well, hope they're not worried about a torn Labrum or Rotator Cuff, as someone who went through that myself, I know those don't have anything show up on X-Rays but from the MRI, so this is kinda a nothing update, hope it's not a tear or his season is already over if they decide to do surgery now. Which is basically what would be needed to get him to 100% for the start of next season's training camp if it's a labrum.  If he plays the season with it and then does surgery, he's not going to be ready for camp and probably not the start of the season either.
    • I always try to not pay much attention to a team’s preseason win/loss record. The 1982 Washington and 2021 LA Rams both lost every game in the preseason and went on to win the Super Bowl, whereas the 2008 Detroit Lions and 2017 Cleveland Browns both won every game in reason and went on to lose every regular season game. There’s many examples of teams that lose in preseason that go on to have good seasons, but equally there are teams that lose in preseason and that continues in the regular season. Which will we be?  I think our floor is a handful of wins, while our ceiling will probably be around the 9-10 win mark. The latter will require significant improvement from the whole team and coaching staff, and will also need Bryce to play like the QB we drafted him to be. I want to be optimistic and predict a winning season, but it’s really difficult as a Panthers fan!
