He just wants to get paid his worth, and we're not in a position to do it.

He probably also wants to play with a team that wins. Better culture to be in. If you can pick and choose who to play with and it's all just business and you're near the end of your career, you go where it's going to be the most fun. Losing isn't fun.

I expect him to return to Buffalo. Breer mentioned something that 2 known defensive players reached out to the Bills.

I would love to see him on their defense.  The Bills are my dark horse to win it all next year.

I don’t believe this but I would rather keep Gilmore over Jackson. I’ve never seen the shutdown mentality in Jackson, please don’t resign him.

If they can re-sign Gilmore to a reasonable 1 year deal I'm all about it. Maybe free agents would be more likely come here if the QB position was more stable. No defender wants to play on a team with Sam Darnold as the starting QB. You'll be on the field twice as much and twice as likely to get hurt. More work for the same paycheck.

The "NFLrums" Twitter is not a reliable source.

About the only reliable thing posted on that Twitter is stuff that they plagiarized from someone else.

If you can find it from another source, it might be valid. If they're the only place it's listed though, pretty solid chance it's bullsh-t.

I certainly hope it's true. I would much rather have Gilmore around to mentor the new kids than Jackson.
