So we now have 2 credible NFL starting OL

We have an unproven 26-year old LG (hopefully) in Christensen.

A marginal C (Elflein) who might play better between 2 solid Guards.

So maybe, just maybe--a LT or LG is all we need.

Discuss amongst yourselves.

Brady is a tackle. I don’t give a poo about arm length and Rhule shouldn’t either

Yeah, he should've been the starter at day one at LG, then kicked out to tackle the second Irving got injured the first time. I was hoping that was the plan originally and I think a lot of people were hoping that was how they'd work him into the lineup.

Elflein is horrible at center. If he is there, everything falls apart.

Hoping they are going with...

BC(LT)-Elflein(LG)-Linderbaum(C)-Corbett(RG)-Moton(RT)

Elflein is still a liability at guard, but the OL can win with him at guard or draft one of many guards who will be an improvement. Keeping Elflein and then signing Corbett is extremely confusing. Why put a good guard next to a weak center?

It's the other way round I'm afraid.

You can win with him at C. He's horrible at G - he's just too small.

I honestly think if he were an inch taller and 15lbs heavier the dude would be a good player all around.

Size isn't going to make him better. Skill, technique and drive will.

That's your inner Matt Rhule talking with the 1 inch and 15 lbs stuff.

    • Who were we going to trade up with? The Dolphins wanted Proctor, the Rams were vehement on taking Ty Simpson, the Ravens wanted Ioane, and the Bucs werent trading with us except for maybe a kings ransom. Even if we wanted to move, we had no partner. Moot point.
    • Devin Lloyd is a stud lb but who is next to him? Prince and Nic should improve. Lee was super value but i am not counting this fourth round chicken yet. I would expect some improvement; hope to eat my words w/ a top ten D.
    • I mean I agree about diminished Cam probably still being viable. Even though it gave a preview of how teams would defend the pass against a limited QB. There was an issue with the upcoming contract he was due to get and his expectations vs the new reality of his physical status - that people tend to  overlook when looking back on it  It had an effect on things I believe   But I do have to ask… what about Tepper’s second major move? fuging clueless   I mean I would take even an injured  Cam over Bryce all day long.
