Watson to Cleveland

This.

And why it is not over until there is a trade or movement. Not just NTC garbage or telling a team they are out.

Could make a complete change again.

This tells you that there is a war going on between Watson and Texans.

We know Watson wants to be near family and Mom. The two closest locations are Panthers and Falcons. We know Watson would prefer the Falcons. They have history and he is deep in the ATL community.

We know the Texans want the best compensation for Watson and do not want Matt Ryan traded to their division rivals.

We know the Texans need to unload Watson before they can really dive into free agency.

Watson is trying to force the Texans to send him to the Falcons. The Texans only want the Falcons as leverage. The Panthers give the Texans the best compensation with no fall out of Matt Ryan going to their division rival, and is the second closest destination for Watson to his home.

Watson pulled that stunt of the NTC after the Texans went home last night.

So, now you get the Texans move. They have now threatened Watson to block the Falcons and ship him further away from home. Leverage. Texans are communicating to Watson that if he doesn't want to play ball, they have the power and can decide where he goes.

Panthers are not off the table. Texans want the Panthers compensation regardless of what Watson thinks he can do.

Browns are just another play in this insane conflict the Texans and Watson have going.

I still don't want Watson and think it would be a huge mistake. I wish the Panthers would announce they are no longer seeking Watson and will not trade with the Texans.

I’m not following what you are saying here, he’s a Brown we aren’t trading with the Texans.

I'm so relieved.

There's zero doubt that Watson would be a mega upgrade,  but the cost in picks, players and cash was just too much.  Watson still has those 22 civil cases to deal with,  and guaranteeing that much...

Just wow.  I'm glad he's not in the NFC South, and I'm glad he's not a Panther.  If he had chosen us, I would have cheered,  but still felt I'll doing so.  So glad that's off the table!

Is he officially a Brown or did he just post an image of him in a Browns uniform with an unnamed source who leaked generic numbers? When he is on a plane to the Browns to do media like Amari Cooper did when he was officially a Brown, then we can call it official. Until then it is an Instagram post to feed the media dogs.

As of right now, his contract is still held by the Texans. Waiting for the Texans to agree to the Browns terms.

Yep.  It takes about 9 minutes for light to travel from the sun to earth.  We're not sure how long it takes news to travel from earth to his planet.

Has anyone ever calculated the speed of bullsh-t? 🤔

I'd imagine it's gotta be pretty fast.

    • What do you think of Bryce Youngs career thus far? Are you excited about his progress or is it not enough for you? I included a poll of ranking his performance through 3 years thus far.  I personally think he's made some decent progress. Has had some high moments (last half of 2024, Rams game, ATL game in 2025)  but in my mind, those are still outweighed by the many more lowlights thus far (ex turnovers, missed throws, poor decisions)  It's a very mixed bag for me. He's done enough to get a 5th year option but by no means should we lock him in with a 50+ mil a year multi year deal. I want to see him play consistently well for a full year before that happens (yes, I'm still saying that going into year 4. That might be telling).  Just sucks when you see CJ Stroud, Jayden Daniel's, Caleb Williams almost immediately lighting poo up with their arm talent. Maybe Bryce is just an ultra slow burn. I don't know what to think anymore. Guess we're gonna be stuck with him for a whilr unless we end up being bad enough to earn a high pick next year. I doubted it lol. Overall Stats for his career:       ● 14 W - 30L (regular season)       ● 0-1 playoffs record        ● 61.4% completion, 8291 passing yards, 49 TDs, 30 INTs  Year 1:       ● 2 wins, 14 losses      ● 60% completion rate, 2877 passing yards, 11 TD to 10 INTs, 5.5 yards per attempted pass Year 2:        ● 4 wins , 8 losses        ● 60.9% completion rate,  2403 passing yards, 15 TD, 9 INTs,  6.3 yards per attempted pass  Year 3:        ● 8 Wins, 8 Losses         ● 63.6% competition rate, 3011 passing yards, 23 TDs to 11 INTs  Playoffs         ● 1 game in year 3 ( 0 - 1 in playoffs)         ● 21/40 (52.5% completion rate), 264 passing yards, 1 TD, 1 INT.
