PJ Walker vs Malik Willis

I’m just tired of hearing the same people that think we can draft Willis and the past of Cam will come back with him. That’s over with just deal with it!

Your doing the opposite of that tho. Your screaming no every quarterback that is able to run. Like his arm is dead and he will run everything and incapable of thinking between the ears. Basically mobile qb=can't throw. That isn't the case at all Mahomes being a prime example of that. Russell and kyler even more.

I'm not expecting Willis to be Cam at all he was a once in a generation player. We have never seen a power rushing qb with a rocket arm and at 250 pounds and maybe never will again. At the least I hope Willis is around hurts at the best I say kyler...  no where is he anything like Cam. He is able to change up the speed and velocity on his throws which Cam arguably still can't do which is why every pass is a fastball.

Every thread it's the same one or two old timers wailing about mobile QB's. We get it. How many times can you shout the same take into the void? We get it you don't want the guy. Take it to Twitter or Facebook with the rest.

Nobody has an issue with mobile quarterbacks. The problem comes in when people can't differentiate between those who are great quarterbacks vs those who are merely great athletes.

Being able to outrun people at the college level and throw the ball really hard or really far idoesn't make anyone a great quarterback at the pro level. At the pro level you need accuracy, intelligence, the ability to read defenses and quick mental processing speed.

If you have those traits and are also a great athlete, that's fantastic.

If you have those traits but your athleticism is merely decent, you can still win in the pros.

If you don't have those traits, it doesn't matter how great an athlete you are. You're not going to be a great NFL quarterback. You'll probably produce some fun highlight reels and maybe even phenomenal stats, but that'll be your highest achievement while better passers are winning championships.

Basically, don't assume that just because a guy makes highlight reel plays in college that he's automatically gonna succeed in the NFL.

He might, but only if he's got the qualities that make a great passer first.

Will Smith Slap GIF by Nightingale

I can't fathom why this gif is used as a positive.

It's a cuck slapping a man - a man who shrugs it off and is incredibly professional in the aftermath. He could have verbally obliterated Smith, but he got on with the show.

goodness man. PJ Walker ran a 4.75 40 yard dash and never had more than 330 yards rushing. Willis is a bonafide athletic freak.

Honestly don’t know how you can look at them and be like “yeap. same guy.”.

We don't know what Willis runs - also Walker technically played at a higher level.

The act itself was incredibly dumb on Smith’s part. It was just used as humor that everyone recognized instantly. Nothing serious just football talk.

It's almost as tiring as HIS ARM OMG HIS ARRRRRRRRRRM! We get it, you think Willis is the second coming of Cam and Aaron Rodgers smushed together. We get it you think we win the SB with Willis. Take it to a Willis thread that needs to be created and gush there.

    • The league would protect him.  The amount of poo Jerry Jones has had exposed and got away with?  The amount of poo Stephen Ross has got away with?  How long Dan Snyder got away with essentially fuging sex trafficking employees and poo???????  Taking down JR was a hit job.  You think the other 31 owners, especially the older ones aren’t blathering, blatant, ignorant ass, bigoted rich racists who have committed far worse things than Blue Jean Fridays?  The ones I named above have DEFINITELY did worse than what JR was accused of.  And do you think guys like Steve Smith would’ve been viewing him as a father figure if they felt that’s who he was?  JR pissed the league off with that last lockout situation and they made him pay.  They lined a new guy up to join their billionaire boys club in Tepper, and they prolly slid a pretty penny to Jonathan Jones to write the “expose,” to get JR out of here.  Again, all the owners I’ve listed above have been verified on record for doing worse poo, yet they’re still running their organizations, unquestioned.  They hand-picked Tepper long before JR was forced out, so he isn’t going anywhere.  Sadly.  fug the NFL.  (Also, to be clear, it’s always fug racism, bigotry, and sexual exploitation - not ever excusing it.  Just making the point that the NFL isn’t operating under this clear standard of justice applied to each and every case)
    • I was still in the throes of a contentious divorce and my job at the time had me work on Sundays.  At the beginning of the season I tried to still work around Sundays so I could see our games.  I think after Bryce came back from the benching, I said fug it.  First time in my life I intentionally didn’t watch our games, even through the Atlanta finale.  In the past, even if we didn’t live up to expectations, I would watch to still support and at least analyze player development, strengths and weaknesses, coaching, etc., but Bryce makes all of that a moot point, so I stopped watching. Again, this is asinine,  it if he is retained (still can’t believe this is even a possibility of a conversation due to how shitty our organization has become under Tepper), I will NOT watch next season until he is gone.
    • Live look at Bryce playing ping pong.
