The Niners traded a ton to get that at #3 overall last year.

No matter what you think Lance is way ahead of Malik..

He's bigger just as fast or faster with a more accurate arm...and North Dakota state play more of a NfL concept offense then Liberty...

He was a better and more ready prospect coming out..

And its literally just been proven..

I'm not directly comparing the two, I'm just saying that a QB that fit the exact criteria of a guy who shouldn't be a 1st or 2nd round pick was targeted in a big trade up at #3 overall just last year.

For the record, I honestly don't want Willis.

Malik is too small, and he doesn't have the top end speed. He's a lot closer to PJ Walker than you guys would like to admit. PJ is almost like a perfect NFL comparison for him. He's several stratospheres away from Russell Wilson's realm when it comes to passing, reading defenses, scrambling, timing, and football IQ. Malik just seems like a guy who can throw the football a long way but doesn't have any touch or finesse that is required in the NFL

I think Malik might be even worse at timing intermediate throws than Cam and Darnold, which is the absolute last thing we need and I will pull my eyes out if I have to see that much longer

I'd put him more Tyrod Taylor category. I think he's significantly more talented than PJ but not nearly as talented as the folks who wanted him at #6 claim.

    • Not sure how much he was a long term piece of this team.   Sucks to not have him as part of the rotation.   Looks like it's Lee Hunter time.
    • This post was an error. Oops and sorry for the errors in the previous one. Too slow to edit.   We’ll see what they do.
    • I am not sure he will put the over the games but we’ll probably have them.   Two things I am thinking.  We have 4 preseason games.  All the coaches have enough service time to know the standards that are in place for decades. If I recall it was play your starters just a series to start woth and build it up until week theee where play a lot and you have week four to set hour roster. Evaluate before cuts.   Bevell will certainly have the whole thing down pat.   I’d they don’t do the fries and frie air will worry too. Because it is set up to do that.     I have said since they went t three preseason people have to figure a new way are still feeling it out and trying things.  We don’t have to this year.
