Wouldn't feel as bad if we got rid of Hayward at least. But Mitch talking like it was some 4D chess move when the league is laughing at us feels like the Bobcats all over again.

Yeah he got fleeced, if there was a chance to dump a bad contract it on this trade. Now stuck with Hayward on IR and probably Miles and Melo leaving, no HC besides Clifford wanting the job.

To be fair, I think Mark has much more potential offensively than Mason ever had. He's already a better FT shooter and has a decent shot with some range.

No qualms there my friend.. physically he's a beast..no denying it

Is Denver’s 1st that we got lottery protected? Not that I expect them to pick in the lottery next year but I guess anything is possible if they get plagued by injury. Anyone know?

Protected top 4…which in most drafts are the impact players

So essentially it went down like this…

Then New York flipped the Denver pick and four second rounders to us for Duren.

Then New York took Duren and shipped him along with Kemba Walker to Detroit in what looks to be a salary dump move.

How in tf do we not get 2 of those 1sts? Not only that, we get the worst of the 3. If #11 is worth those 3 picks, then surely #13 is worth at least 2 of them. How can you make this move as a GM.

    • Great season regardless of what happens. From starting out 4-14 to ending 44-38 is incredible progress and future is bright from here. I do think we can beat the Heat and then win on the road against either Orlando or Philly assuming Embiid doesn’t miraculously return sooner. But if not, a higher draft pick is nice too
    • I know a DT that's asking for a trade: 🤔 maybe a home discount can be worked out. Dan Morgan could create up to $80 million in space through restructures of stars like Derrick Brown, Jaycee Horn, or Taylor Moton. They could also include players like Tershawn Wharton ($18.6M cap hit) in the trade to balance the salaries. Carolina Receives: DT  Dexter Lawrence II New York Receives: 2026 2nd Round Pick (No. 51 Overall): A premium Day 2 selection that fits the for  Lawrence  after his 0.5-sack season in 2025. WR  Xavier Legette : A young, high-upside receiver who provides the playmaking depth HC John Harbaugh needs for his offense. 2026 4th Round Pick: Immediate mid-round value. 2027 4th Round Pick (via MIN): Future capital acquired in the  Adam Thielen  trade.  ----- Stone Forsythe* (another young player as a potential trade option)provides immediate offensive line retooling for HC John Harbaugh.    John Harbaugh's history in Baltimore proves he values draft volume over individual superstars.    Just my 2cents
    • Moved to Tuesday, not Wednes because of scheduling with Flyers game or something in Philly. But I don't feel good about the Heat.  It has been a great season regardless.  Team just been playing so hard to move up since a bad start and just picked a bad time to get gassed.  It's like almost everyone is shooting cold at the same time even wide open shots.   Maybe atmosphere and playoffs kick off a spark.  I'd rather be in a series than a one and done though. The team has a good foundation to build on regardless of what happens.
