It would be nice because it sucks how much David Tepper has trashed this franchise, we are the laughing stock of the league , something we never experienced under Richardson, even in 2001 we were competitive

No Free Agent wants to come here because we have a terrible staff that our owner doesn't fire

I don't look forward to football season anymore

We can't cut an owner but I could sit here and cut this fart I've been holding in for you if you like.

Look at Washington Commandos/Commodores/Foreskins.. there’s ur answer

Bingo. What Snyder has done time and time again was far worse than what JR did and yet he remains. Not sure what JR did to fall out of favor or maybe they just wanted Tepper in the club so badly that they jumped on the first opportunity to create an opening.

Don't know (outside of the obvious) but that will always be one of the damndest things to me.

His loyalty to the NFL knew no bounds, yet it always seemed to be a one way street. And at the time that he most desperately wanted them to have his back, they hung him out to dry.

Classic case of "they don't love you man, they're just using you."

I honestly think it was basically that JR was really old and in declining health with no succession plan with the plan being for the team to be sold after his death. They really wanted Tepper in the club and jumped on the opportunity to speed up the clock a bit then they basically told everyone that unless you're willing to blow Tepper's bid completely out of the water you might as well not even bother because we're going to force this team to be sold to our guy.

he could move the team and then instead of being the laughing stock, we can be nothing at all.

we've been here before, remember jimmy clausen? that was worse. much worse.

    • I think Indiana will win it all but Miami should give them a much better fight than Oregon did.
    • When I tell people I was at that game, they usually say oh that’s so cool you had the experience. I call it soul crushing. Why? The weeks and months leading up to it were great, the team was fun to watch every week…some weeks the offense was unstoppable and carried the team (saints and giants road games), other times the defense carried the load (jaguars, tampa). Lots of back and forth games against good teams (Seattle and Indy). Good young players on the team, but the veteran leadership was incredible…from Cam, Olsen, Kalil and J Stew to Luke, TD, Norman, Tillman, Jared Allen, CJ. Role players like Fozzy Whitaker, Cotchery (he caught that MFer), Philly brown, Kyle love, AJ Klein, and so on.  The Friday before the nfc championship my wife and I after a few drinks said let’s see what prices look like for flights/accommodations and we got to talking about how much prices would increase if we waited until we found out if we would be in the big game. We said screw it, we are only out $200 if we have to cancel.  Of course we come out and just pulverized the cardinals in front of the most raucous crowd by far we’ve ever had. We had no idea what we would do for game tickets and then found out a neighbor who worked for the team could get us 2 for face value (each employee got two of their own for free, something cool that JR did).  But then the NFL mafia decided that the storyline of manning going out on top like Elway would give them more goodwill than a non traditional QB who didn’t connect with their target demo and the rest is history. I never have and never will watch that game again. I am just hoping I can see them win one in the 2nd half of my life.
