Where are you getting that Baker organized this or that they didn't do exactly this last year?

We get it you made it your mission to defend Teddy Bridgewater then Sam Darnold too. That's your choice. But it was very painfully obvious leadership was lacking big time when Sam was the starter. He simply could not lead when things got remotely challenging. Can Baker? We'll see. But so far just stuff like this is night and day. Sam is a nice friendly guy but he simply does not have the disposition necessary to be a hard nosed franchise QB in a league full of elite talent.

And the actual tweet about it for good measure

I think the "undersized" more so related to him doing some tough running in college that he is going to have to curtail in the NFL for longevity.

Which, Cam was a massive, physical specimen and playing the way he did eventually cost him his career.

He definitely can't be averaging over 9 carries per game like he did at Ole Miss.

You think Cams running style is what got him injured? I seem to recall it him 1. Having to chase down a CB after an INT because KB wasn’t paying attention and hustling and 2. A brutal hit on that shoulder by TJ Watt. When did he ever really get hurt rushing?

His playing style caused a tremendous amount of wear and tear on him. Remember the ankle and foot injuries too? It wasn't just his shoulder.

The lack of pass protection and his playing style both contributed to his eventual decline. You just can't play that way forever in the NFL.

    • Oh I was.  But we still had great players.
    • You keep AT unless he WANTS to get traded to a contender during the season.  He's valuable, TET, XL, and Coker need to learn how to be PROFESSIONALS on game day, practice, and the off-season.  That's what you get from AT.  ADDITIONALLY, he is clutch.  He is steady.  At is that savvy vet who will always flash. I really think they keep 7 WR's if Brycen can operate on special teams.  Week 1 you may see us heavy on WR and OL because of the massive amount of injuries across the league.  Renfrow may even be cool starting on the PS since he lives close and wouldn't need to uproot his family.  You can still make nearly 400K as a vested veteran on an NFL practice squad.  You see more veterans hanging around since the age limit was lifted. I think the 1st 53 and PS looks like so...... Offense: (25) QB (2) Young / Dalton RB (3) Chuba/Rico/Etienee WR (7) T-Mac/XL/AT/Coaker/Renfrow/JHjr/Brycen TE (3) Tremble/Sanders/Evans OL (10) Icky/Lewis/Corbett/Hunt/Moten/Brady/Mayes/Yosh/Zavala/Kingston Defense: (25) DL: (6) Brown/Robinson/Turk/Bobby B/Cam Jackson/Sam Roberts OLB: (5) Wonnom/PJ2/NicSic/Princely/Incoon ILB: (5) Rozeboom/TW/Windmon/Cherelus/Bam CB: (5) Horn/MJ/CSW/Thorton/Evans S: (4) Tre'Mo/Ransom/Demani/Scott Specialists: (3) JJ/Fitz/Martin Last spot: Right now I have it as a toss up between DJ Johnson and Bam.  Until NicSic can come back we need an extra edge.  Do we utilize TW more as a blitzer from the middle to keep Bam safe?  I'm not worried about DJJ getting picked up from another team, a little more concerned with Bam. Practice Squad: DavidMoore/JamesMitchell/JacolbyGeorge/Tuttle/Crumdley/Ray/DJJohnson/Kantra/Carter/Blacksheer/ Wright/KrysBarnes/MichaelReid/Safety pick up/RB pick up/QB pick up
