I want Ickey at LT--but right now, BC is more ready.  That will change.  I just think BC is going to find a spot somehow.  Of course, a swing T probably plays a lot of snaps over the course of a year.

If BC wins the LT job this year and plays even decent we can flip him for a 1st or 2nd round pick in the future if Icky develops.  BC playing well - even at LT - can only be a win for us.

I would love to go through a season where we look back afterward and say "Our LT was ok."

Ellis trying to figure out Macadoo's offense.

It’s a minefield of Paul Blarts checking people for cell phones, so I just pretty much gave up on filming anything, and started doodling lol. Honestly, I’m learning more from these practices by just putting the goddamn phone down for periods of time. Turbo tweeting through each rep is just unsustainable for me.

I used to take a notepad and sort everything out later.

Once got asked if I was scouting for another team (was wearing a personalized Panthers Jersey at the time) 😕

Don't know if they still allow notepads.

Sam's lack of fire and leadership last year was increasingly evident on the TV screen when things went south. Not surprised the team doesn't gravitate towards him at all, I don't even know if it's really all his fault but the QB position demands that you have some leadership ability.

I don't think it's personality as much as results.

Dan Marino used to cuss and swear and call out everybody.

On the other hand, Joe Montana pretty much never lost his cool.

I think basically, if you produce results, guys will follow you.

If you don't, well...

3-3-5 Stack is pretty much our base at this point.

Hartsfield seems like he's pretty much secured that role after starting in it a good chunk last year, wasn't sure if the 3 safeties were going to be Chinn, Woods, Burris..good on the kid.

    • Moved to Tuesday, not Wednes because of scheduling with Flyers game or something in Philly. But I don't feel good about the Heat.  It has been a great season regardless.  Team just been playing so hard to move up since a bad start and just picked a bad time to get gassed.  It's like almost everyone is shooting cold at the same time even wide open shots.   Maybe atmosphere and playoffs kick off a spark.  I'd rather be in a series than a one and done though. The team has a good foundation to build on regardless of what happens.
    • Dan's been talking about upgrading CB since beginning of free agency
    • I'm more of a Hornets fan than I am a Panthers fan, I've watched a ton of this franchise the last 20 years. I post all day on RealGM. Don't get your hopes up, this is setting us up for a 20 point loss to the Heat and a swift end to the season. Spoelstra has always solved us, the Heat have two bigs that we have no answers for, and Jaquez is a certified Hornets killer that always plays us like he has a grudge on us. The Hornets being a top 10 team all year and a top 5 team the last half of the year and then flat out missing the playoffs is incredibly on brand for this crappy, horrendous franchise. I would love to be proven wrong. But I've suffered enough to know this little scheme the team is pulling. We finished 2 games out of 6th and guaranteed playoffs, and we blew two games to the Pacers and Nets earlier in the season, when they weren't trying to win. It's just who we are, Hornets DNA
