Johnathen Taylor for Cmac ? (Fantasy)

  that time of year again boys … I play in a keeper league… I’ve been after cmac for years …. I am planning on trading jt for cmac … talk me into it or out of it … thank you a ahead of time

I don't do Fantasy Football, but I can't say I'd support that trade given...recent performance.

Personally, I think the Colts have been so run heavy due to their limitations at QB... I expect them this year to attempt to air it out a bit more. Jonathan Taylor isnt known to be a receving back , but Hines is. Healthy CMC over JT all day, but thats the tough part.

Some years back, I saw a Falcon fan asking who was better between an injured Michael Vick and a healthy Chris Chandler.

They later said it was a trick question because there was no such thing as a healthy Chris Chandler

As much as people complain, these minor injuries that cost CMC the last two years are probably good for his longevity we weren't going to win anything and he would have racked up anther 600 touches.... If we had been in contention I don't think he sits most of last season. 

 

26 is usually a running backs peak.... Healthy CMC *knocks on wood* He's gonna lead the NFL in fantasy points.

I agree that when healthy, McCaffrey is a fantasy machine, arguably a number one pick in just about any league.

It's just that "when healthy" qualifier...

Just roll the dice. You know you want to. Unless you really believe that CMC is going to be on ice for the better part of the next three seasons, you gotta trade for him.

From a fantasy perspective, Taylor normally goes 1 and cmc goes 2.

 

Taylor is seen as a safer pick with a good floor and ceiling.

However, cmc is thought to have a higher ceiling because of his role in the passing game but obviously all his missed games make him more risky to give you zeros.  Foreman is basically free in fantasy.  If I take cmc, I'm also taking Foreman and stashing him.

I'm still taking Taylor above cmc given the choice.  But I think cmc has to be the 2nd pick behind him.

I had the #1 pick last year, and took CMC.

it all depends on how your league is set up. If the RB gets a point per reception then CMC must be in the conversation. Our O line is improved, we have an actual OC, and a QB that can stretch a defense (Baker, obviously)

Other contenders are Henry, Eckler and maybe Cooper Kupp if you're rolling the dice on a WR

If I'm playing keeper league, I'm keeping JT over CMC. I know CMC is more potential in a PPR but has less value in standard scoring. 4 years until CMC hits the 30 wall too. Depends on if you see yourself moving on from JT soon
