Putting your potential  future Qb(investment) behind the 4th string oline... with wrs that I'm scratching my head while looking at names... is definitely  some dumb ish. I know you  have to earn your way but  the logic with Matt today is ridiculous. It's preseason but they should of put him out there with the 2nd string offense.

Just now, TheSpecialJuan said:

Now you know why PJ played so much

Well, I'm not gonna lie...  I think we as fans wanted to see him, good or bad, because we get to see so little of all of the guys in camp ever since Tepper took over and information was so limited...  so we can't form an opinion of players ourselves until we see them in games.  It sucks.

But to be fair, as I pointed out earlier, it's kind of hard to evaluate Matt with the personnel around him right now too...  which is why I don't get playing PJ that long with the better options.

Corral looks like most people who werent blindly hopeful expected.  Raw and not used to a real NFL offense.  Most of us knew it was going to take time for him to get a grasp on everything.  (Not this season, at least early in the season).  He needs time, hes got to get the mental down first before anything else matters.

    • I think Indiana will win it all but Miami should give them a much better fight than Oregon did.
    • When I tell people I was at that game, they usually say oh that’s so cool you had the experience. I call it soul crushing. Why? The weeks and months leading up to it were great, the team was fun to watch every week…some weeks the offense was unstoppable and carried the team (saints and giants road games), other times the defense carried the load (jaguars, tampa). Lots of back and forth games against good teams (Seattle and Indy). Good young players on the team, but the veteran leadership was incredible…from Cam, Olsen, Kalil and J Stew to Luke, TD, Norman, Tillman, Jared Allen, CJ. Role players like Fozzy Whitaker, Cotchery (he caught that MFer), Philly brown, Kyle love, AJ Klein, and so on.  The Friday before the nfc championship my wife and I after a few drinks said let’s see what prices look like for flights/accommodations and we got to talking about how much prices would increase if we waited until we found out if we would be in the big game. We said screw it, we are only out $200 if we have to cancel.  Of course we come out and just pulverized the cardinals in front of the most raucous crowd by far we’ve ever had. We had no idea what we would do for game tickets and then found out a neighbor who worked for the team could get us 2 for face value (each employee got two of their own for free, something cool that JR did).  But then the NFL mafia decided that the storyline of manning going out on top like Elway would give them more goodwill than a non traditional QB who didn’t connect with their target demo and the rest is history. I never have and never will watch that game again. I am just hoping I can see them win one in the 2nd half of my life.
