You are crying about Mr. Scot filling this thread and literally almost none of your posts have been anything but complaining or whining.

Oh The Irony.

Did I hear him correctly, Rhule said he's running the 2's and 3's in Preseason game 2 --

aren't most teams running their 1's and 2's then, and using the 3rd game to sit starters?

Rhule zagging again, while the pro coaches zig?

Raiders and Vikings jsut had preseason game 2 and started 2s and 3s. Pretty sure this is just the modern NFL now.

He isn't even a quality backup he can't process the field when the real games are played this is all common sense.

Hes our 2nd best qb by far and as you said he most likely wont be traded.  Yes a fine backup for a season.

Well to be fair, as long as the head coach is still talking about it, why shouldn't he?

I cant wait until its just announced so we can all get worked up on to the next topic, haha.

Im going to guess the next thing we will be mad about will either be Shi snaps (He had a solid day today) or TMJ's health.

Not really an anger thing, just a logic thing...

Until the coach actually declares a starter, why shouldn't Darnold still look at it as a competition?

    • He has attempted 8 shootout goals in his NHL career and made 1. He is among our worst SO guys on the entire roster in terms of career stats.
    • Against Miami, the Panthers were behind by 17 in the 2nd quarter facing a 4th - 5. Young completed a 21 yard pass and they went on to score 7 on that drive. Then in the 4th, down by 4, they faced a 4th - 5 and again, he completed a 17 yard pass and they went onto score a TD for the win. He also accounted for 2 of the 3 TD's.  As I said, he got them in that mess and no doubt, Rico gets credit as well, but missing on either of those 4th down conversions hands the ball over and results in 1 or 2 less TD's giving them a loss. As you said though, that's just a small quibble. The real question is how does the FO see it?  I am guessing they see it as something to build on. I think most peope here see it as a total loss and fully expect the FO to see it that way as well. Time will tell.
    • Kochetkov is just too streaky. TBD if Freddie is doing that too. Freddie is the more reliable goalie over his career. The Bussi kid looks like he could be a solid #2 eventually.  Just need to figure out the #1 guy. Same as almost every year. It's not talent, it's consistency and being able to step up in the playoffs.
