I enjoyed watching Watson lead Clemson to the Championship, beating Alabama and crushing Ohio State in the Fiesta Bowl semi-final in 2016.

He's really "matured" into an entitled POS in a few, short years.

I thought I was the only one that noticed. His entitlement is crazy.

His comments about triggering people etc are disgusting. I hope he comes to realize what he's done and does get help. I am skeptical that'll happen any time soon.

I suspect Watson could be a PR nightmare for them.

(Jimmy and Dee Haslam aren't exactly helping)

Lack of remorse and just terrible PR from both Deshaun and Browns on this awful situation just makes me want him to go away for a while. 11 games does not feel like enough at all, don't really care how the precedent has been set with punishment by NFL. Guess what? Punishment by NFL has been bad so it shouldn't be the stone cold precedent

Pretty clear and concise statement here

I have rejected all settlement offers, in part because they have not included any sincere acknowledgment of remorse and wrongdoings, nor have they included any promises of rehabilitative treatment. Watson still refuses to admit that he harassed and committed indecent assault against me. Any settlement offer he has made has been a dismissal of his evil actions, and I know that unless there is an authoritative intervention, he will continue his destructive behavior.

Why not just make it the whole season? I’m so glad I don’t have to see that guy in a Panther’s uniform.

Because he at least had the moral capacity not to mess with the NFL’s money.

Say what you want but this proves he does have some sense of right and wrong.

    • Jarvis and Aho like scoring vs the flyers. This is the get right series for this line.
    • I like it, but really our future hinges on three very important and expensive things we really can't predict right now. 1. Bryce. He either is or isn't going to be the guy. We won't know until this coming season ends. If he puts us in the 10 wins category and continues to improve (that TD-INT ratio is the big tell there), he won't be cheap. But I don't think he's going to be getting anywhere near the bank breaking amounts, unless we see some kind of Drew Brees-type emergence. 2. Can Icky even come back to play? At all. LT, guard or RT. I sure hope he can and I'd love to see him at guard. If he can come back, though, he's looking at vet pay at whatever position. $10 million a year is probably what we're looking at if he has to change position, if he can still play LT then it gets very steep. We might end up looking at letting him hit to open market. 3. Taylor Moton. Love the guy and he's been the picture perfect Right Tackle. The question is will he want to keep doing this? He's getting long in the tooth but he's still a hell of a scrapper out there. If he wants to go and we really want him to stay, well that costs big bucks. While RTs are supposedly easier to replace than LTs, it's still a tough one for us.  And we won't know anything on this until after training camp and then season end. Dan Morgan's got a lot of stuff in the "still to be decided" bin on his desk.
