Zylstra is a surprise. Team must believe in Roberts as a returner.

I imagine one of McCall/Hoskins will be cut for the kicker. I assume Hoskins.

When Sam hits IR it'll open up a spot for the kicker. I think they're safe unless we put in claims for any of the vet DT/DE's that got let go today.

He was a wavier claim form 4 years ago, thats good value. New set of ST eyes in Tabor, stanford the former ace was cut as well. I had Zylstra making the team until the KS trade.

The raw truth, its a good thing when you cut a player like Zylstra.

I think cutting Mosby and only keeping 5 LBs is more surprising.

This is what I thought as well... especially as well as Stanford played very surprised he went to IR. At least this means he will be there next year hopefully even more hungry and show a bit more to help the oddly thin LB group.

LB depth has to be the thinnest position group.

But Chinn can play LB if necessary. That's why we have all these hybrid or multi-position players. The team's full of them and we added another today. They give us roster flexibility as well as scheme looks.

Me thinks there will be around 3 LB that are signed to the PS.

Another thing is *if nickle is the base, well thats only 2 LB on the field. CJ henderson got to play.....then you got a guy like Hartsfield, whom can cover, tackle, and solid. Good problem. Hartsfield, franklin, and chinn can play LB if need too.

Id honestly start Luvu at DE/edge. Shaq and Littleton at LB. just me tho...

    • Yeah I think he's just talking continuity it's not really an endorsement. Also I would think CarolinaHuddle of all places would understand using "we" for the team you follow. I can't STAND when dorks do the "Oh so you play for them then? Hurr hurr"
    • Kon is a damn stud but it’s not any individual player’s team. All of the “big 3” are incredibly and equally important IMO. And LaMelo makes Kon way better (look at his shooting splits with LaMelo on the floor vs without. Also Moose and even Miles are important cogs. Honestly think we’re 1 piece away from being legit top contenders if the young guys continue to develop the next year or two. I trust this FO to be patient to find that piece within the next 2-3 years and not force anything. Plenty of time and even without adding anyone we have the pieces in place overall already to compete with any team.
    • We lost 2 very close and winnable games against top teams in the league while missing 3 critical players despite 2 of our top 3 players shooting unusually terribly. Still split the 4 games that Moose and Miles were suspended, winning the most important one vs the Hawks. This ain’t yo mama’s Hornets man. Hopefully Coby can go soon but even if not Moose and Miles are huge additions for our starting lineup and bench rotations. Schedule is pretty tough after these next 4 but I think we’ll take care of business the next 4 to get to .500 then finish slightly above .500 after that to get a 7 or 8 seed. Keep it rolling boys. Also Kon is having an insanely historic rookie season as a shooter. Like truly can’t believe my eyes watching this kid level of historic. Man what a fuging home run of a draft pick and exactly what this team needed to take that next step forward. He’s gonna shatter the rookie 3 point and franchise 3 point records. Has a real chance to be the 2nd best 3 point shooter ever or dare I say even get to Curry’s level (as a pure shooter, Curry obviously has way more to his game that has made him a GOAT).
