Sadly this is just something that happens, even the best nfl teams end up having games where they win/lose by a fg.

Honestly, probably the best we can do.  I hope he comes in confident and maintains that 86% career fg percentage.

Yeah, but we were just trying to find the best short term solution. Gonzalez is still our guy next year. makes sense to go with the seasoned vet.

seems like he's hurt a good bit. hope he does ok, though. people seems to like him, but he never sticks around very long. i have a feeling we'll find out why.

I figured they would go with a veteran just for that reason.  It's not like Joey Slye came up injured and it was a springboard to upgrade.  They are happy with Gonzalez, and barring him not recovering 100%, they have bigger fish to fry.
