The NFL does owe the Panthers an explanation why the Brissett spike was not intentional grounding.

Yeah, we put ourselves in positions to lose but you have to wonder if the refs have an interest to determine the outcomes. Organized crime, gambling addiction, or maybe the NFL wants the browns in the playoff hunt.

maybe one is a Panther fan.  Trying to end this debacle.

That's how people bet on these reality shows and stuff at vegas for whatever dumb reason,

vegas shouldn't be taking bets on pre-taped reality shows.

Live shows, like Dancing with the Stars (new season premiering next week on Disney+ 😀 ), are a different story of questionable legitimacy

Considering we live in a country where our politicians are openly bribed, I have even less confident our sports leagues are "fair" either.

That's definitely true.  I'm just saying if there was ever a way that it could be proven then the nfl would be in huge trouble legally.

I hate when refs don't just own up to their mistakes. It would be so easy to say on the Burns roughing call "At our angle, it looked like he made forceable contact to the head or neck area. Of course on replay, we realized we made a mistake. Unfortunately we are human and we regret that mistake happened at such a critical juncture of the game."

Agreed.

Instead, they might as well have said to the fans "At our angle, he made contact with the head or neck area.  On replay, it's "inconclusive".    Yeah let's go with that.   So f*ck you all."

This will be unpopular, but other replay angles show Burnsy making contact with Jacoby's helmet. I can take that one. The fake spike was intentional grounding and you wont convince me otherwise. 10 second runoff leaves them with 3 seconds or so and they have a timeout waiting. Homeboys 58 yd FG looked like it would have been good from 70+. Call it what you want but the team Shi+ the bed for 3 quarters and never should have been in that position.

    • Yeah I think he's just talking continuity it's not really an endorsement. Also I would think CarolinaHuddle of all places would understand using "we" for the team you follow. I can't STAND when dorks do the "Oh so you play for them then? Hurr hurr"
    • Kon is a damn stud but it’s not any individual player’s team. All of the “big 3” are incredibly and equally important IMO. And LaMelo makes Kon way better (look at his shooting splits with LaMelo on the floor vs without. Also Moose and even Miles are important cogs. Honestly think we’re 1 piece away from being legit top contenders if the young guys continue to develop the next year or two. I trust this FO to be patient to find that piece within the next 2-3 years and not force anything. Plenty of time and even without adding anyone we have the pieces in place overall already to compete with any team.
    • We lost 2 very close and winnable games against top teams in the league while missing 3 critical players despite 2 of our top 3 players shooting unusually terribly. Still split the 4 games that Moose and Miles were suspended, winning the most important one vs the Hawks. This ain’t yo mama’s Hornets man. Hopefully Coby can go soon but even if not Moose and Miles are huge additions for our starting lineup and bench rotations. Schedule is pretty tough after these next 4 but I think we’ll take care of business the next 4 to get to .500 then finish slightly above .500 after that to get a 7 or 8 seed. Keep it rolling boys. Also Kon is having an insanely historic rookie season as a shooter. Like truly can’t believe my eyes watching this kid level of historic. Man what a fuging home run of a draft pick and exactly what this team needed to take that next step forward. He’s gonna shatter the rookie 3 point and franchise 3 point records. Has a real chance to be the 2nd best 3 point shooter ever or dare I say even get to Curry’s level (as a pure shooter, Curry obviously has way more to his game that has made him a GOAT).
