I could see MC being the backup to a 1st round rookie we draft next year.  If we have a top 5 pick and get a new staff you have to imagine we take a QB and let MC be a cheap backup unless we want a vet.

Doubt it.  The new staff will get assurances on a timeline therefor making it unnecessary to rush them out until they are ready.  So I bet we draft a qb and sign a vet to mentor and start the season.  Probably cutting corral or try to move him.  I doubt we keep 3 qbs 2 being developmental

If we end up picking in the top 5 or 6 again this year then it will almost certainly be for a qb.  So I'd say no.  Honestly MC has the best chance to play in the future if we are mediocre this season but I think that's the worst outcome for the team overall.

If we draft a QB in the top 5 I would imagine he would start week 1.  I know there are exceptions but generally these top picks play quickly.

I could see that but even then I doubt the new staff keeps an injured 3rd rounder that nobody has seen play.  I just dont see any realistic scenario where Corral gets meaningful snaps or is even on the team next year outside of maybe the practice squad.

I wouldn't be surprised if they cut him or trade him for pennies on the dollar, but he will be a cheap option who has some potential.  Hey if we sign Kiffin as a coach he might want to roll with Corral! (kidding.... kind of).
