Does 0-2 put Rhule’s seat red hot?

I doubt that 0-2 will get him on the verge of being axed early.  It may virtually seal the deal later in the year, though and not because of the slow start.  The first four games were among our best chances to pick up wins.  If we walk out of September under water, it is going to take a huge turnaround or a lot of teams expected to be good to come down to earth for us to pull anything out of this year.

Will the temperature among the fans and in the media go up?  Absolutely, but neither group makes the decision.

Or just stop wasting our time watching this dumpster fire of a team, stop wasting our money buying merchandise or at bars watching them, and probably feel happier and less stressed until changes are made...

Yeah, the idea that people are just gonna shrug their shoulders and throw their wholehearted support behind a loser is pretty silly.

Should be, but nothing will happen. Rhule is still owed like $43 million. I doubt David Tepper would piss 43 million away for sake of potentially winning some football games. I am afraid we're stuck with him so we might as well grit our teeth, support the team, and weather the storm.

Grit our teeth and support the team? This ain't college ball bro.

Rhule kinda started a dumpster fire here, so it would make since that he's feeling the heat. Im not sure what the specifics of his huge contract is but Tepper should be having his people going over it. If there a way to cut bait he'd be crazy not to IMO.

    • Not to me. You win six games by 3 points but lose one by 30, you have a negative point differential but still have a winning record. Stats are flukey in football. That's why I don't rely on them for evaluation.  But again, my evaluation of this team is not that they're a great team or even a very good team. What I've seen doesn't bear that out. I see an average to potentially above average team that can beat bad teams and also has been able to hang with some good ones. Mind you, that's an improvement from previous seasons but it's still not where we want to be.  And no, I'm still not convinced we get to where we want to be with Bryce at the helm. But we have some challenging games coming up where he at least has a chance to prove me and other doubters wrong. Bottom Line: I doubt my overall assessment of the team is all that different from yours. We just arrive at our respective takes via differing paths.
    • We also took XL over McConkey. The Panthers always have an almost illogical hard on for project players that fulfill height/weight/speed parameters who may not have been the best players in college.  Although to be fair,  Tmac was consistently productive and that paid off. They didn't over think that pick and they benefited.  McConkey was insanely explosive at Georgia but the Panthers probably never even considered him with a below average height/weight/other measurable.
    • 4th and 3 inside the 15 and GT is gonna kick a FG? No way. You're down 4 scores. You gotta go for 7. Okay, they called a timeout. Surely they're going for it.
