If that is true then it's what I feard even when Rhule is finally fired. He will swing too far and go to someone that peaked elsewhere with another embarrassing contract.

Same. He thinks like a fan.

Sadly, he also isn't any smarter than one when it comes to making football decisions, yey he insists on making them himself rather than letting an actual football person do so.

Tepper is such a frigging dumbass.

Another BS article written by a clown

Aaron Wilson isn't a clown. He's actually a well respected reporter who covers the NFL and the Texans. Unless this is some other Aaron Wilson. The part about the coaches seems like speculation perhaps but I trust what this guys puts out.

That's great, but in this case, his article is pure speculation. His competitors have gotten the exact opposite intel.

I would prefer an up and coming coordinator tbh - Dorsey, Leftwich, Demeco Ryans, Ben Johnson are all intriguing. If we're looking for a former HC, I'd prefer Flores to Quinn. While I think Payton would do well, I'm not in favor of giving up more assets to try to get him from New Orleans.

Mr Scot got me intrigued with Ben Johnson. Either him or Flores would be my preference. Payton would be too expensive to pry from the Saints, and Quinn is a much better DC than HC.

That said, unless we really implode this season, I expect Rhule to be back for year 5, if for no other reason than not wanting to eat the remainder of that ridiculous contract.

    • Completely agreed.  TBH, we have had so many great players that are in my favorite list, and I hate to narrow it down to one, but Cam is it.  Which is crazy, because you would think it would be more of the guys I grew up watching, but no.  Cam was the single most impactful player to ever out on a football uniform imo.  And like I said in an earlier post, I always felt a kinship with him in a lot of ways…  the way he was treated and judged for the off the field stuff in Florida and having to overcome all of that and fight show at back.  And although I am not a black man, I have always been welcomed by and accepted more by minorities, and thus, I know what it’s like to be judged by appearances rather than the content of your character and who you actually are.  I know what it’s like to be stereotyped and written off or mistreated for your mistakes.  I know what it’s like to be held to a different standard while your peers don’t have to meet that same standard.  So I always related to that.  And the way he came in and just electrified the whole franchise, man…  I still think about it often how much it sucks that because of how talented he was, our staff out so much on him and that ultimately cut his career short.  You’re right, there will never be another Cam…  I think Josh Allen is the closest thing we will see for a long time, but Allen is not the running threat Cam was.  Cam could run you over or around you.  That was THE absolute funnest time to watch our team ever.
    • It definitely needs more specificity than is baked in now.
    • The weirdest encounter I had with a pro athlete was waiting in line at security at Mile High Stadium when I used to get the company suite tickets almost every week because I was the only employee based in Colorado. There's a small checkpoint accessing the suites that virtually no one knows about that you can usually squirt right through. I was standing there and looked over my shoulder and there stands John fuging Elway waiting in line behind me.  This was during the The Golden Calf of Bristol season right before he became GM. I just said "They make YOU go through security?" He's like "Yeah, ain't that a bitch. I literally have a statue out front and I gotta go through security like everybody else." I've heard mixed things about him but he was super nice and down to earth with me that day.
