Dan Snyder gave Ron Rivera full power in the organization and basically allowed him to restructure the front office as he saw fit.

That restructure included getting rid of popular front office guy Kyle Smith in favor of former Panthers GM Marty Hurney along with former Lions GM (and Panthers GM candidate) Martin Mayhew.

Mayhew is best remembered as the architect of the Lions team that went 0-16.

The Colts are everything to Irsay. I could see him doing a training camp fire of a new coach, in their first season if he thought it'd help his team.

That's not going so well for him it seems.  Marty Hurney is the kiss of death to a franchise.

Fitt makes me miss Hurney...that's how bad things have gotten.

Fitt is the best GM we`ve had. You mouth breathers cant tell the difference between coaching and GMing. It is not Fitt`s job to coach. Don`t know how many times that has to be said. He has given the team value, Rhule shits all over it.
