lol.

I don’t think so.

Glad Snow is gone, but I figured he wouldn’t be too far behind Rhule.

Based on what? 2 preseason games with offensive linemen who aren't even on the practice squad?

Preseason game 1 was horrific but MC played much better in his second stint before getting hurt.

I agree with @panthers55 at this point in the college season, I am not overly impressed with any of the QBs in this upcoming draft.  Sure, there are some decent QBs but franchise I don't see it.

Wilks had a decent defensive backfield when he was here before.  IMO, he has  a better one now.  Read the Steve Wilks Bio on Panthers.com.  In his 5 of 6 years in Carolina we had a top 10 defense.  Defensive Coordinators have the final say and it is quite apparent that Snow wasn't going to toe the line especially after Wilks moved past him in the pecking order.

Just wanted to reiterate...  The more that has happened, the more it looks like those rumors were completely spot on.  Wilks was fuming behind the scenes, and I didn't really buy it before, but it is starting to look more and more believable that Snow was the actual guy calling the shots in the Rhule regime - which is fuging insane.  This is just amazing how this had all unfolded.  Wilks gives me hope that we can put something in place that resembles a functioning, professional football team again.

I'd think Jeff Nixon might be otw out too. He was pretty close to Rhule also.

Yup, just like Snow has followed Rhule around.  They were college roommates.  The rest of the crew can stay (for now) as the ties are far tight to Rhule.   Yeah, Nixon would be the only other Rhule lackey that needs to immediately go.

I’m not impressed with what I’ve seen from Corral, Wilks, or anyone we have currently coaching. In fact, I’m not even impressed with Fitt. I’d clean house.

This is an odd question considering how we got the greatest QB in franchise history.

We didn't tank for Cam we sucked and remember it took unti.year 3 before we had a winning record. And we didn't have a QB already we thought could be a starter. I wouldn't be surprised if we don't draft another QB high with Fitterer swing for the fences but my point is we don't need to purposely suck to find one.

And how are the Bengals doing this year. Yeah 2-3.  He had a great rookie year but Baker took Clevelabd to the playoffs as well. Neither Cleveland or the the Bengals have been consistently good. It might take more than a QB alone to turn a team around. But tanking isn't the way to build a consistent team.

AMEN

    • I can say that I have defended Canales because I get that they are doing all they can to keep from looking like idiots for drafting Bryce, from the trade up to signing $150m guards to drafting XL and Brooks etc---nothing seems to work.  And Hiring Canales was part of the Bryce Young rehab program, so so he can't really decide to "move on."  That has to come from Morgan and Tepper. Personally, I think Bryce is due for an injury.  He is small, he is not thick, and he has been a LOT more healthy than most any other QB has who has endured so much pressure.  The thing that bothers me is this---Bryce really does not go through his progressions quickly.  He locks on to his presnap read and stays locked onto him for too long--he seems to fail to anticipate the WR/TE's positioning on the play before the cut--for example, if the WR is running a dig and the CB has his back to the inside of the field, he should be open for a second or less just after the cut.  He seems to wait until the cut has been made before deciding, then checking down quickly while moving in the pocket. OL:  There seems to be a lack of communication--is that on Mays?  Watch this team presnap--they seem a bit confused at times.   I can almost predict the success rate of the play by watching the center and QB before the snap.
    • Anyone else remember back in 2010 when Fox piloted having music under the in-game replays during one of Carolina's games? Not the commercial bumpers but the actual replay clips that the announcers would talk over. Pretty sure it was vs the 49ers. And it was terrible. Point being, Carolina continues being so bad that we get the networks trying things out during their games.
    • Is it bad I found this video more hilarious than pathetic? I am still laughing at that one play where half the people on the field ran into each other and Bryce still couldn't see Chuba wide open... Also laughing at Cade blocking nobody and somehow losing his cleat Man this offense is a poo show
