This is hardly the worst roster in the League.  We lack a competent QB from being good.  I said good, not great.  Cap relief is enough cap space to make the necessary signings to complete your roster.

We have a good young OL, a top RB, a top pass rusher, a shut down CB, plus Brown is making a big jump this year. That’s a great start for a rookie QB to work with plus players like Moore, DJax, Shaq, Chinn and Woods who are better than average. Our roster is young and will play even better with some real coaching.

interesting that we are qworking out linebackers. Are we shipping someone out? Did someone get hurt this past game?

Aaron Wilson chronicles who works out where every week.

I hadn't seen a single workout or visit attributed to us all season, up to now.

Wooten is a 22’ UDFA SEC LB that was on the bubble for them after a solid preseason.

Honestly, good snatch, the open slot essentially makes this a Wooten/24 6th, 25 7th comp for Anderson.

That being the case if Wooten kicks one of the scrubs off the bottom.

Wooten? What did I miss?

If the team is drafting 1st, something is wrong. And there is very little cap “relief”. Even after restructuring and putting themselves in the same position again.

    • Of course your not looking at that it doesn’t fit your narrative. Caleb inherited a mansion and they kept adding prices his second season
    • Basically agree.  He is the one of that bunch that offers upgraded pass catching along with he is supposed to be kind of special.   Then you have the OL and the ideas that if they perform you can have JAG backs and still do well. So okay we could be fine.  But Brooks is important and to me that receiving element sets him apart.  So there sure is something riding on him.     What strikes me as incongruent is people over in Atlanta or those that follow them look at Penix with a third surgery and act like it is no big deal.      And we are on pins and needles over Brooks.  Either they should worry a lot more or we should worry a lot less.
    • I usually go a game or two optimist over the consensus here but this is too early for me to say. I need to see some players on the field.  I am not feeling real optimistic though.
