How can the Rams possibly afford to trade for Brian Burns? Do they have any more 1st round picks this decade 😂.

Seriously, they seem to trade away their high draft choices every year for star players.

He could also just be playing.  It's in his story right now; may just be stirring the pot

16 wins in almost four years that's goat status baby!

Newton plays a more important position than McCaffrey and when was the last time he won a game with us? Hadn't he lost something like 11 or 12 straight?

Wins and losses are not an individual player stat.

Oh this logic again. Wins and losses are a team stat when it's someone you like. Cam is done. But when his arm wasn't toast we won games and competed in our division. We need a quarterback and I'm tired of watching weirdos with a fetish for a white RB live vicariously through his garbage stats. We need a winning football team.

Is that all some of you want? He leads the team in yards so you can rub your no no spot while we are still cellar dwellers? I will be relieved when he is gone you people are worse than any Cam Newton homer at least we won something back then.

I was responding to a quote genius. Damn you’re dramatic…

They're a team stat no matter what. Teams win. Teams lose.

And I don't give a sh-t what color a player is if he's good. McCaffrey is great as long as he's healthy. Newton was great when he was healthy but he's not anymore.

Trying to attribute wins and losses to one particular player is ignorant and illogical no matter who it is. And yes, that includes quarterbacks.

What does his skin color have to do with anything?

Are you racist?

Well it's not consistent with what I heard and saw for the better part of an entire decade. Do you remember "just win baby"? Fans used to try and console each other with stats from tough losses as a means of coping and most replies were about the win-loss column being all that matters. How about we get back to those days and stop fawning over "the best weapon in football!" that has us with a 16-39 record. We could potentially end up with the #1 pick this year. It's time for a new era. The player only fans need to figure out what they are going to do and who they are going to root for because for some of them the TEAM obviously isn't the first priority.

So you're obsessing over a player getting traded (with no regard to whether it'd be the best move for the team or not) because you don't like how people talked about your favorite player a few years and a couple of coaches ago?

Damn, dude. Let it go 😕

It's obviously a factor for some and why people prop him up as one of the goats. None of our other running backs in the history of the franchise have had such a deranged cult following and his career numbers do not blow any of theirs out of the water. This is not an echo chamber you are going to have to reckon with and ponder these facts sooner or later the team obviously is going to be moving on this season or next.

    • I suppose it depends on what you mean as 'elite'. I typically mean someone that can play with lower level pieces around them and still win. There are very few of those.
    • It would obviously be incredible if Brooks came back and just ran away with the job on his opportunities like Rico Dowdle did last year. But any Panthers fan that has been around the block knows better than to go ahead and make plans for that. Brooks has missed a ton of not just playing time but meaningful early career growth in a league that has increasingly devalued the position from an investment standpoint beyond one or two superstars. There's really not any comparison to look back on that lines up with the current iteration of the league at least not favorably. The key thing that this RB room has going for them is our investment in the OL. The highest paid OL in the league two years in a row paired with our staff should make it easier for just about any RB to get into open running lanes. But that is also anything but a given considering our OL was largely middle of the pack last year. In the end it might all be a moot point anyways if we again struggle to establish a viable passing attack.
    • I don't have him making the team and I think same goes for the staff, but they are hopeful for a PS spot.    I mean of course I'd like 3 all-world at RB and every spot, just doesn't work that why. Panthers normally carry 3. dan always talk up Etienne, even called him a future star.....I think Brooks will be fine as a 2 with health pls.....  Chubba can carry a seasons load as lead dawg.    Its fine, I mean backup OGs or CB is much higher on my worry scale(Id even put QB room as worse than RB room too...)
