Ok, so now that we know 100% that QB will be our pick in rd 1.. Let’s talk about our 2nd biggest need, WR. Who do we love in the 2nd?

I'm not a big fan of moving up in drafts but if we owned the #1 pick?

I'd be okay moving up from the 33rd spot if there was someone great in the end of the first or middle.  Using that 33rd pick plus something wouldn't be that massive of a cost.

Its also worth getting that 5th-year option that comes with 1st round picks too

WR??? Teams that are the worst in the league 32-32 don’t have their 2nd biggest need at WR. Another massive homer thread. This teams sucks and needs major help everywhere. O line. LB. D line. TE.

We need big boys on both lines. LB or DE is in my opinion the biggest need.

We need major help at OL? Some depth and maybe a new C, but LT, RT, RG, and probably LG look set for next year.

See I think we could. Trade down from number 1.

Take a pass rusher first then we can still get Hooker or the coastal kid and maybe a DT.

Then that kid competes with Golden Corral!!

That's a lot of value.

They should definitely get a DE. They kind of painted themselves in a corner with the trade to pick up Corral. They basically bet that Corral would be better than the 60th-70th pick they'll give up this year. He's playing.

We shouldn't spend a high pick to compete with the guy whether deserved or undeserved, you had as QB1. They're much better off taking a chance on a QB early in the second round to duke it out with Corral.

Like I've said, IF they go first round QB it would be absolutely asinine to make him compete with Corral. What if he loses? That devalued your first rounder. QB is a choice and you have a backup. QB competitions seem amateurish.

Every good team knows who their damn QB is, the last coach was the opposite, winging it, playing coy, wasting everyone's time. There aren't that many NFL level QBs that you can actually have a "competition".

You can hold how the old regime valued players vs the new one. It just doesn’t work that way. The Cards had a first round grade on Rosen and took Murray the next year at 1 with their new coach.

The next coach may love Corral. Young offensive mind with NFL experience as HC?!

Lane Kiffin. Don't speak too soon. THAT could happen.

That’s true, but sitting with the top pick and new coach usually means QB. Not saying it’s 100%, but it’s close. Now if we drop a few spots and miss on the Stroud/Young/Levis picks anything is possible.
