How many of them have picked? I've posted this twice but received no reply. Outside of James Bradberry (2016 and no longer with the team), Jeremy Chinn (2020), Brady Christensen (2021), How many of our 2nd and 3rd round picks have actually become above average and made a significant impact on the team since the SB season of 2015?

Taylor Moton

Djax

Remember, most of those drafts were run by Hurney the 2nd round killer.

No it's not.

How many Superstars have we picked in the 2nd and beyond?

1.

You can't replace the best in the world with a bunch of average and get better results.

You can trade one great player and replace several bad players with average or better and definitely get better overall.

Uh, that's two of the last three drafts, and we didn't have a 2nd rounder in 2022. I'd say 2/2 isn't that bad.

You people with your draft picks.

You sound like people that will spend their whole check on lottery tickets.

Cause that's what 3rd round and beyond picks are. Scratchers.

Well there are currently only about 3 ways to acquire players in the NFL.  The draft being the cheapest and the best opportunity to grab the youngest talent.  Sure beats the hell out of overpaying a vet in free agency.  The teams that stick their draft picks the best are usually the most successful.

So what?  What has happened in the past has no bearing on what will happen in the future.  Each draft is completely different, and brings a new opportunity to get a good player.  Would you rather NOT have 2nd and 3rd round picks?

    • there is one common denominator in the 2003 & 2015 Carolina Panthers teams they both had ELITE top tier Qb play.  it would require a MVP type of season from Bryce Young to have the same type of success that Jake Delhomme had in  2003 & or Cam Newton in 2015 & lead this team to a SuperBowl is this going to happen or is there any reason to believe Bryce Young is capable of playing similar to Jake Delhomme in 2003 or Cam Newton in 2015 ? well no there is no absolutely NO reason whatsoever to believe that this is going to happen in 2026 ..just saying
    • I'd actually like to see Cherelus get a fair shot to win the job in camp. Wallace is decent in drop zone coverage, but he gets abused in the play action game and is often times out of position in the run game. It might just be me, but I swear every time I watch Wallace play, I see multiple plays a game were it looks like he's just trying to be blocked. Watching Cherelus last year he at least looked like he was trying to hit someone on every play. Wallace plays like a LB who doesn't trust what he sees and it makes him passive and cautious versus Cherelus who regardless of if his decision is right or wrong goes at it 100%.
    • Agreed.  Hasn’t happened to me either, but I feel very strongly about it.  That’s not just one of the worst things a woman could do to a man, it’s a power inherent to only women and is one of the worst things a HUMAN being can do to another.  A man can’t “hide” a pregnancy or maternity.  It’s impossible.  And that sucks for anyone that has to go through that. I always got a weird vibe off her and just found her very unlikeable.  Annoying even.  I’ve always been good at reading people and there was just something about her to me that was off-putting, somewhere under the surface.  And here we are…  she is despicable.
