Quinten Johnston in the 1st, then Max Duggan in the 2nd.

Quinten Johnston is a 6’4 WR that runs a 4.4 and is drawing comparisons to Calvin Johnson lite, runs great routes, plays to his size and is considered a bonafide first rounder. Him paired with DJ Moore would go together like Peanut butter and chocolate, they would compliment each other perfectly plus finally giving us that big bodied red zone target we haven’t had since Olsen or even Benjamin (during his 1000 yd season that is)

.

I agree that the Panthers need a  # 1 / # 2 WR to pair with D.J. Moore and Quinten Johnson is my choice as the Panther # 1 draft selection.

The top 2 or 3 QB's will probably be off the board when the Panthers draft, so they could probably trade back a few spots in the draft order, pick up another draft choice and still be able to select Quinten Johnson..

Quinten Johnson :

So far in 2022, Johnston has 38 receptions for 574 yards and three touchdowns.

He flashed in 2021, catching 33 passes for 612 yards and six touchdowns. Sources from around the NFL are high on his skill set.

"He's 6-foot-4, 215 pounds and can win on all three levels. He puts up 20 yards per catch, runs great routes, is super smart, an alpha, and the hardest worker on the team," according to pro scouts.

While Johnston still has more to prove with pro evaluators, they are high on him across the board. He could end up being the top receiver prospect for the 2023 NFL Draft.

We seem to go through this all the time. If the pick is a QB, it should be Young or Stroud. That's it--that's the list.

Many of us have a Weber or some other kind of smoker--how many of you know of someone else who loudly claims that their homemade smoker made from a old drum is better at ribs than your "overpriced" smoker? They have pride in turning something from nothing--which I understand--and sometimes they can turn out to be better cookers but it's rare and totally dependent on the skills of the person making and using them.

The Huddle seems overpopulated with these drum smoker makers...when there's already high-quality smokers out there.

If Carolina is at the top of the draft, take Young (my preference) or Stroud. Don't get too cute with manufacturing a case for anyone else--Hooker, Duggan, Levis, or whoever else.

He does NFL things. Off platform. Improvisation. Natural feel in the pocket. Consistent accuracy.

He’s better value in the 2nd that any QB in the first unless Bryce has a growth spurt in him.

I am not sure what you are watching but there is almost no elite NFL ability in that video.

The very first throw (and third) show his consistent big issue--sailing the short and intermediates.  His accuracy on quick throws can be a bit erratic which is probably why whispers aren't being made about him being a R1 talent.  You have to nail that stuff down pat as a QB going into the NFL.

Though that throw at the :20 mark..wow.  And he does well at extending plays and working with his guy post-route.

He's a R2-4ish type imho.  Better than Duggan though.  edit--Reminds me of how people were looking at James Morgan in his draft some years back.  Checks out on paper, great measurables, a bit of that QB gene, great numbers, but you need that extra kick of something that shows you have a high ceiling to warrant a high pick.  He's just kind of like a lot of these mid rounders we've seen.
