No. That’s why I wanted Burns traded. That was a huge haul for a guy who’s never taken over a game. You can’t turn that down and pay him $30M a year (it’ll get there). Still doesn’t take away that our D just had their worst back to back D games in the Rhule era even with Cincy pulling starters in the 3rd.

I’m not a burns fan

i wanted that trade

every once in awhile he makes a play  but he is a run liability and over runs more tackles than he makes

This d line is too light and the lbs non existent

not that it matters, but I have never seen a more overpaid linebacker than Thompson

people shouldn’t get paid because they are the last line backer on the team

    • I think the qualification has changed over time though. A deep ball play used to take 4 to 6 seconds for the receiver to get to that spot on the field. Now a receiver can be there in 2.5. That's less time than most QBs have to set and throw. In my mind a deep route takes time to develop. A crossing route and a deep route can't take the same amount of time at full speed. You can have 4 deep balls on the same drive,  almost 5 if you do 5 20 yard throws goal line to goal line. That doesn't even make sense when you say it out loud.
    • The sad part is it looks manicured enough that he's aware it's running away from him.  Also, I just wanted to give you some fun loving grief on King Haynes today having a chance to throw a game winning TD, and was wildly errant, and ultimately picked off to end the game.  So happy I won't have to hear anything else about The Golden Calf of Bristol lite ever again watching college football.
    • I just think Panthers believe in Bryce far more than the fans do and he is most likely going to be the QB at least the next two seasons. the real shot of us moving from Bryce is not getting an extension, till then they are going to give him every chance to succeed and I just want to win.
