What are you smoking man. Sam Darnold is Jimmy Clausen with a better arm. He’s permanent trash. He doesn’t have it between the ears and he’s piss sacred to have the ball in his hands.

He has the highest upside of anyone not named Matt on our team.

We are going to screw ourselves and win the South.

If that happens PJ can't win a playoff game.

Baker has a bad history in the playoffs.

Sam is the longshot but athletically he gives us the height EV of hitting that Superbowl lottery ticket.

We also got guys like Bozeman and Foreman that we want to convince to resign here, cuz you know they're good players and guys. Unless the tankers want to be complete ass for another 5 years starting from complete scratch

They’re new fans who have no clue how the NFL works.

You folks who are die hard tankers are literally nobody I would want in a time of hardship.

You sound absolutely bitch made and not reliable.

Winning just enough games to not get top 5 draft picks is working out so well for us. That's the weird thing about pro sports. If you suck, you might as well suck BAD because you're literally at a competitive advantage in the future to suck worse if you're already bad.

Athleticism doesn’t mean anything if you are a moron. That’s Sam Darnold. He literally doesn’t process the field and doesn’t understand what’s going on or he can’t handle adversity. I wanted to give him a shot but hes been outclassed by PJ Walker. Sam never played as competitively as PJ did on his best day. That’s not indicative of a franchise QB.

Idk that is just the most pathetic excuse to not play well.

If you genuinely suck to to be compensated to get better that's one thing.

I just don't subscribe to this idea that every individual in the organization needs to purposely lose for the betterment of the franchise.

I'd rather these individuals play their ass off so that when we bring in someone, he walks into a winning org.

Oh Jesus.

The good news for him? At least he got paid.

The bad news for us? Those cap hits are gonna suck.

Potentially. But it’s not as bad as it looks as far as moving on from him.

only 3 million in dead cap and 10 million in savings in 2024. That would be our “spending year”

    • Why not? Dude was tough as nails. Came off the field after a vicious hit and showed the coach how his ring finger was knocked out of socket halfway up. You could see the shock on Fox's face. Brad just  pulled  on the finger, grimaced, got it back in alignment and went back in for the next play and blew up an opposing linebacker or two. Dude is legendary.
    • Motown let on like he'd like to play at least another 5 years in his presser. I fell he was truthful and us fans over did his knee. The guy started like 108 starts in a row and only missed like 2 games over each of the past years.  I think as long as the team agrees with his value that Motown has, he will sign another contract extension to push the void years into the 2030s.  OLmen can play at high levels up til 40. Trent williams is doing it, Richie Incognito leftd and came back to play until he hit 38. Lane Johnson is still playing at a top level while 38. You member Greg Van Roten, he's somehow still playing at 36 and he started here after being a substitute teacher years before. If you are able to get over the 32 year bump, its possible to reach 38 with luck. Colleges do a poor job of preparing new OLmen, many times that vet is better.   Rams were begging Andrew Whitworth to come back while he was 39, if you got the genes, luck and still willing to put in the hard work....it is possible to play until 38 as a OLmen*starting level*
    • Shaq was a fantastic LB, he just happened to have been standing in the shadow of a Panthers great and a Hall of Famer. He was team-lead starter quality for all 32 teams of the NFL. Don't throw shade on him, he was never just a guy.
