Got around to seeing clips; man this dude is really high on himself.  I get he's trying to sell his abilities but he really doesn't take the right angles.  If I were in his boat, I'd position myself filled with humility and taking lessons learned.  What he admitted when he was asked about what he would do different was such a bad answer.  I always felt that he had basically no relationship with our best players and he pretty much admitted to it.  You just never saw CMC, Moore, or our top talent actually back him up or speak of him like they did Ron.  And then Matt is like, yep, I didn't really talk to them much, finally did after a few years.

And meanwhile, he's still acting like he's got some type of secrete sauce.  Such a salesman.

No coincidence that Luke and Stew were back at the first practice of the post Rhule era and the media team was allowed to post it online

It sounds like something that, if you are an AD at a major program, it will give you a pause about him.  Everybody tries and fails at things.  As long as they take something away from the failure that makes them better and helps reduce the likelihood of another failure, that is grown.  He failed at moving to a level that many good college coaches before him have failed.  The fact that he didn't own up to learning anything beyond BS, sounded like BS, could close some doors for him.  He didn't grow, at least that he would admit.

Geez, guy, act like a normal human being, not some guy on the tube at 1:30am doing an infomercial.

He’s so fake because he knows deep down he is a fraud

And maybe I just haven't paid attention before, but I don't recall any other NFL coaches getting fired midseason and then doing the talk circuit. Am I wrong?

6 weeks after being fired, with 7 more weeks plus the playoffs to go? I can't recall anyone doing that, or why anyone besides him and his agent would have any interest in having him do any media at the moment. Brian Flores did a few shows in the offseason but he actually had the lawsuit to talk about. Sean Payton is on a couple shows here and there but he's "retired" and also talks about football things because he knows football things. Sounds like Rhule just talked about himself

I honestly believe he is out there campaigning for himself because he is not getting the looks he thought he would from more prestigious CFB programs. I don’t think any P5 school Is going to go after him. Georgia Tech, Arizona State …can all do better. He is probably going to have to go to a place like UAB or a program like that.

Yeah and you also have to want Phil Snow because without him Rhule is just a guy that can say a lot of words

Watching some of the clips he is just such a college coach. I don't say it as a bad thing. I honestly think he might land somewhere and do a great job. It's just that the NFL and college games are different beasts and he's tailor made for the college game and recruiting and getting players to buy in and maximize them over a short timeframe. That's not the NFL. The NFL is Xs and Os all day everyday. Rhule doesn't seem to be about that. He's a program builder. He thinks you can work hard and right attitude your way to success. You can in college if you can get the right kids on campus. You can't in the NFL. Every team is chock full of those guys who were the right kids on campus.
