When was the last time Gordon has played most of a season with any team? Now the Hornets are the villain and he's the victim huh? $120 million guaranteed and complaining on social media. I can't wait to see this bum wash out of the league and take his entitled wife with him.

3 seasons with the Celtics 71 games played. 3 seasons with the Hornets 103 games played. Compared to 408 with the Jazz through 7 seasons . The man hasn't been on a basketball court consistently going on 7 years now. Yet he has 236 million in career earnings. Quit the blame game nonsense Mrs. Hayward and be thankful you hit the lottery!

It was only a matter of time, he is about as useless as Nic Batum. Yet another success story for MJ.

Begs the question: what EXACTLY convinced MJ that Hayward was worth $120 million dollar contract with his injury history?

Hayward was/is the best player that's been willing to sign here. Before LaMelo the only way they could get talent to come Charlotte was to overpay fringe all-stars like him, Nic, Al, etc, and pray. We don't have the luxury of signing the stars with no question marks unfortunately.

    • I thought this presented an interesting point. It is fair to wonder now, about switching the two QBs as so many tried to do that first year where Bryce was trash and CJ looked great.  It is almost the reverse scenario now and I wonder what CJ would look like here with better weapons better coaching and better protection. Overall, compared year one.  If each player had been in the other place for the three years. I would love to see CJ with this team now.  Just to see.
    • I really have no clue what to expect sunday.  To quote one of my favorite bands of all time, Operation Ivy "All I know is that I dont know".  We could win, hell we could win convincingly, we also could lose in blowout fashion.  We could be in a back and forth game with whoever has the ball last winning.  I legit HAVE NO CLUE.  This isnt the dominant bills teams of the past, Allen is still elite and can win any game by himself.  That said, heres my stab at looking at things. Our defense is made to stop this kind of team.  Strong against the run, a great corner but meh talent around the field.  We've stopped prolific run offenses this season.   Javonte Williams - Season low yards and ypa against us. De'Von Achane - Season low yards and ypa against us Breece hall - 3rd worst yards in a game Fact of the matter is, we arent what we were last year, we are a good run defense and that lines up well against the bills, Stop the run.  For once the lack of moving Jaycee might be a good thing, he will essentially lock down a side and without multiple real weapons thats fine.  Buffalo does not have an elite guy, theyve got a gaggle of average dudes.  Allen will stay away from Jaycee, it will be on Mike Jack and Chau Smith Wade do to their part and they will be matched with guys they can play at the level of. On offense, we do what the bills are bad at.  We run the ball well, and they suck at stopping the run.  Rico and Chuba will need 30 carries.  Andy Dalton will need to be opportunistic.  My big fear is what we learned last year, Dalton can get overconfident and make bonehead throws.  Its this simple.  Run the ball, stop the run.  Dont turn the ball over.  If we do these 3 things, we will be in a position to win in the 4th quarter.
    • This makes me wish we took a flyer on Quinn Ewers late in the draft
