I'll just have to disagree.  Russell Wilson looks like he carries himself with class and morals and people hate him for it. His teammates said he wasn't "black enough" and those are the people that are swaying your opinion of him.

If he actually did no one would have this problem.  He's an unbearable holier than thou god botherer.

Insane that you guys hate Russ so much when there isn't a shred of dirt on the man and just lives a military lifestyle like his parents taught him. You guys love fellas like Marshawn Lynch though that drive so drunk, all of the tires are missing off of his vehicle

I don't care for Russel Wilson as I believe he is a phony but put me in the category that I've never thought Marshawn Lynch was a good dude especially in his youth. Maybe he has grown up some today but when he first came around he was most definitely an asshole who couldn't obey the law.

You know nothing about him and that’s the bottom line about all celebrities

I am a State grad and die hard fan. I pull for all the guys coming out of my alma mater. Except Russel Wilson.  He is/was a great talent and loved him at State. I even cheered for him when he went to Wisconsin. But once he got to the NFL, I saw him for the fake douche that he is.  He is the Carlton Banks of the NFL.  Wish him a long life and good health but fug him.

? Yeah growing up in Oakland and obeying/respecting "the law" don't coincide. Marshawn is fine, his NC A&T segment on Thursday Night Football was funny

His current teammates don't exactly seem to be his biggest fans either.

    • Completely agreed.  TBH, we have had so many great players that are in my favorite list, and I hate to narrow it down to one, but Cam is it.  Which is crazy, because you would think it would be more of the guys I grew up watching, but no.  Cam was the single most impactful player to ever out on a football uniform imo.  And like I said in an earlier post, I always felt a kinship with him in a lot of ways…  the way he was treated and judged for the off the field stuff in Florida and having to overcome all of that and fight show at back.  And although I am not a black man, I have always been welcomed by and accepted more by minorities, and thus, I know what it’s like to be judged by appearances rather than the content of your character and who you actually are.  I know what it’s like to be stereotyped and written off or mistreated for your mistakes.  I know what it’s like to be held to a different standard while your peers don’t have to meet that same standard.  So I always related to that.  And the way he came in and just electrified the whole franchise, man…  I still think about it often how much it sucks that because of how talented he was, our staff out so much on him and that ultimately cut his career short.  You’re right, there will never be another Cam…  I think Josh Allen is the closest thing we will see for a long time, but Allen is not the running threat Cam was.  Cam could run you over or around you.  That was THE absolute funnest time to watch our team ever.
    • It definitely needs more specificity than is baked in now.
    • The weirdest encounter I had with a pro athlete was waiting in line at security at Mile High Stadium when I used to get the company suite tickets almost every week because I was the only employee based in Colorado. There's a small checkpoint accessing the suites that virtually no one knows about that you can usually squirt right through. I was standing there and looked over my shoulder and there stands John fuging Elway waiting in line behind me.  This was during the The Golden Calf of Bristol season right before he became GM. I just said "They make YOU go through security?" He's like "Yeah, ain't that a bitch. I literally have a statue out front and I gotta go through security like everybody else." I've heard mixed things about him but he was super nice and down to earth with me that day.
