Watching Zach Wilson play reminds me EXACTLY of Corral

I wouldn't completely rule him out and cast him away just based off one partial preseason in his rookie year. Wait and see how it goes next season. He wasn't trending in the right direction I agree but way too early to write him off or crown him a NFL level starter. Sucks he got injured so we couldn't get an idea of what he could do this season in the regular season and I doubt he is NFL starter material but I wouldn't say it's over and he is guaranteed bust yet either.

Corral isn’t even as athletic as Zach Wilson. Wilson was just a bad prospect. Very overhyped due to the pre draft process and some big throws he made against sh*t opponents in college. I thought his ceiling was Mitch Trubisky but he’s even worse than that. Jury is still out on most of these guys but I feel like I was close on my assessments of the 2021 class!

I mean, this is not logical--it is a hypothetical comparison in which you compare a young rookie in preseason playing behind an Oline that was cut vs. a second-year, second overall draft pick playing with the starters.

So both young rookies? And also the jets are that much more advanced offensively than us? LMAOOO I hope matt gets his chance so he can run himself out the league

    • Nobody on the huddle is saying we have an elite group offensively across the board. They aren't great. They're young. If you are expecting someone to agree with your position of blaming everyone around Bryce Young nearly three full seasons into his career you are going to be left holding the bag save for a handful of people who act like they are paid to defend his honor. Bryce Young is not a guy who has had to claw and fight his way into starting jobs in football. He's had the best to work with and been gifted roles since he was a teenager. The Panthers have one of the youngest rosters in the league and with us needing an infusion of young defensive talent in the upcoming draft we're only going to get younger. We need a QB who possesses the ability to elevate those around him. If you can't agree with me on that then there's nothing further to discuss.
    • All Bryce and the Panthers had to do was split with the Saints and a rookie QB. The bar was so low. They even had a whole bye week to prepare. The time for singing kumbaya was before that game. Anyone still talking about Bryce earning a second contract 43 games into his career is living a fantasy. He might get one from the Tepper owned Panthers but he's damn sure not earned it.
