When will the Panthers hire a new HC?

I think they will do a second round of interviews this week and make the decision early next week.  Tuesday's seems to be the day for big news in the Panthers organization (1/31).

I doubt the decision is made (public-- the organization may know by then) any earlier than this coming weekend. On the other hand, I don't think it comes any later than Super Bowl week--so no later than 2/6.

I am curious to see who makes the cut if second round interviews are in order.

Also curious to see if any of our interviewees get poached by the time we make our decision. Whether they were in serious consideration here or not.

That is another interesting question that could be asked. Where in the order of available open positions will we fill our coaching vacancy?

As leaky as our organization is, I would expect that to be in the press quickly. One would wonder if that would lead to the cancelation of the Denver interview, as well. That would be a dead giveaway. 

I think the Payton process is going to be dragged out. There is no real rush on his part because he also has the option to spurn all the suitors and wait for a better deal next cycle.

      The new (released today) FOX ONE app will allow you access to watch your Local FOX Station - similar to how the Paramount Plus app allows you access to watch your local CBS station It'll cost you $20/month for the privilege, but if you're having trouble accessing the over-the-air antenna for FOX, this could be an option to consider the new ESPN app will give you access to ESPN content, but not to the local ABC affiliate. A reminder: if you currently get ESPN via some TV provider (cable, satellite, youtube, etc) then you should be able to use the new ESPN app via your provider login, no additional payment required

      Not even close!!! BURNS was a one trick pony who had a big game or two a year in the sack collum and was invinsible the rest of the time....   Heck hes gonna be the Giants fourth best rusher this year.

      XL went to one of the worst teams in the NFL.  One that features a weak passing O and bad overall QB play on the season.   XL is getting way too much hate IMO.   He had an okay rookie season all things considered.   Very much on par w/ prospects that projected around the same area with him.   Panthers made a 2nd rounder a first round technicality for that contract.  XL also getting this weird kicker type blame for games.  XL somehow single handedly lost us games on one play.....and then we ignore the rest of the team that went about losing the game for 4 quarters.   Should he of caught the Philly ball? 100%.  The O and D still played like garbage that entire game.  Even after the drop, Panthers had two shots starting w/ a 3rd and 4 to convert.  They kept playing bad instead.  And even if we XL made the play....Philly would have had a minute and half to get into FG range to win it.  Who is banking on the Panther D getting that stop?  also, I am deemed Mr. Negative, yet here I am defending a no good dirty Gamecock lol
