Regarding Matt Rhule.

Matt Rhule is a BS artist.  Unfortunately, I’ve dealt with enough BS artists in my lifetime to not suffer them well.  That probably explains my ill feelings toward politicians.  I don’t wish any personal locusts or plagues on The Process.  I’m content if he just gets universally exposed for what he is.

It is sad if his kids get hit with some of the mud/dung slung his way.  The focus should never stray beyond the actual target.  But he created that situation.  It was not reaching beyond his ability that exposed them to the mental midgets of the world, but his constant tap-dancing to deflect any accountability or sidestep any responsibility.

As @HPPantherzfan said earlier, if he doesn’t work out in Nebraska, his star dims.  He will be on the Bobby Petrino trajectory, hopefully without the scandal.  That means he bounces around between medium-level D1 programs and smaller schools.  Hell, if he follows the Petrino trajectory, he will spend some time back at Baylor or Temple before he is done.

I lived in the Washington, DC area for nine years, and he would fit right in there.

fug Rhule. He now has a lawsuit against the team for $5 million. He purposely structured his $80 million Nebraska contract to increase payout in the later years to complicate the offsetting payout contract terms with Carolina. What a greedy egotistical asshole he is. He's pissed that Wilks was a better HC than him, and he's pissed that we hired a real NFL HC in Frank.

I think he loses the lawsuit.

He is stressed, his legacy is in question.  If he fails at Nebraska after failing here, he knows his career is basically over.  Stress is a killer, literally.  I hope he succeeds as well, I hope every human being does

Lol

that’s fake stress. he has enough money to take care of his family for several generation.

    • Do you see the vision?  As of now our Carolina Panthers don’t have an identity. We are not an offensive powerhouse and on defense we only started getting it together towards the end of the year last year. In my opinion we are much closer to having an incredible defense that scares the daylights out of people. I say the answer is simple and we fully commit to that possible identity.    Emmanuel McNeil Warren (E man)  This guy is like a shark lurking around ready to attack anyone. Fearless. He is easily a top 20 talent in my eyes, and the only reason he isn’t more talked about is because he’s from Toledo. Do your due diligence as panther fans and watch his tape I beg you. Once you’re done watching let me ask you this, if you dropped E - Man into the strong safety spot on the Buckeyes, he isn’t being talked about as one of the best prospects we’ve seen in some time given the skill set you see with this guy? I think so. Put his name on the card and turn it in at 19.    Jacob Rodriguez  High effort, High energy, High IQ guy that flies around the field. We all know Jacob at this point. My only concern is he’s a little bit too good and I’m not sure he makes it to us at our pick in the second. With the additions of Jacob and E- Man I think our defense goes to top 5 in the league. We would have a duo of linebackers that rival anything we’ve had in our past. I’m not a GM so I don’t know what the possible answer could be, but if there’s a way we can comfortably trade up in the second to secure this guy I think we find a way to do it.    Spend the rest of our picks fixing the O - line.    Thoughts Panthers fans? Who’s the ideal duo for yall?
    • OL is arguably much more important to the success of a young QB. (Or any QB)
    • Didn’t get around to watching this one but looks like Pistons played their starters and actually tried…? Unlucky that they sit vs Magic, etc and try vs us. Hopefully we can beat the Heat and then Magic or 6ers with no Embiid. BUT if not, the NBA really should give us the lottery win this year like they did Mavs last year. Another high pick could be our final missing piece and have us as legit top contenders next year and going forward if we’re healthy. Or trade it for a Giannis type
